Farm Egg, Bacon and Veggie Breakfast Pizza Recipe and Food Photo Shoot

I've been trying to find new ways to consume eggs and this pizza was the brain child of that one morning. Starting with my fermented pizza dough I made a garlic butter Parmesan sauce, topped that with scrambled eggs and three cheeses. Add some finely chopped red onion, bell pepper and cremini mushroom. Once it was out of the oven it was topped with bacon pieces and ashed goat cheese and it made for a pretty tasty and flavorful breakfast.

Ingredients

Premade Pizza Dough
5 cloves garlic
5 T butter
3 t flour
1/3 c milk
1/2 c Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1/3 c milk
1/2 c mozzarella
1/2 c Parmesan cheese
2 slices provolone cheese
5 quail eggs
Small amount of chopped bell pepper, cremini mushroom and onion
ashed goat cheese
Bacon pieces
Salt and Pepper to taste

  1. Start with scrambling the eggs, by whipping the two eggs and the milk together. Add them to a hot buttered pan and cook stirring occasionally until fluffy and lightly golden.
  2. Start with the 5 T butter in a sauce pan, add the garlic when it's hot and bubbly on low heat.
  3. Once the garlic is lightly golden, add the flour and stir to combine.
  4. Add the 1/3 c milk and mix until smooth, then add the cheese and mix until smooth. It should be a runny paste.
  5. Roll out the dough and put on an oiled pizza pan.
  6. Spread the sauce over the dough.
  7. Evenly crumble the egg over that, then follow with the cheese. Then add the bell pepper, mushroom and onion. I then cracked 5 quail eggs over the top before putting it in, to cook while the pizza does.
  8. Bake at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or until the cheese starts to brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and top with the bacon and goat cheese, cut and serve.

You are fermenting pizza dough? well if John and friends enjoy it then it is good. The pictures look appealing an appetizing.

Technically speaking all bread doughs containing yeast are lightly fermented during the rising process. My pizza dough just has a starter and a long rising process.
