CITRUS CURD FILLED POPPYSEED MUFFINS 📷 FOOD PHOTO SHOOT 📷
How about a muffin on this fine Sunday?!
The area in the center of the country is very similar to California's central valley where citrus grows like crazy.
Even down here in Patagonia, citrus grows, because in the Northern part of Patagonia, it never freezes.
My lighting was superb on this day so I got a lot of fantastic photos, even if I do say so myself.
So these muffins are amazing. Not only are they stuffed with citrus curd but I also put some into the batter.
Question: Do poppy seeds really add any flavor? I’ve never noticed any difference. I’m pretty sure someone just decided that adding tiny edible black specks to muffins somehow makes them look pretty and they just went with it. That's why I added them, plus they sound nice in the title.
RECIPE available upon request
I hope you enjoyed the photos?

My opinion about muffins: The world wouldn´t be the same without them! .....neither steemit without your fantastic presentations :)
Thank you.
Wow, wow, wow, how amazingly sweet. That made my weekend. I am humbled by that, thank you so much!
I don't notice the difference in flavor either with or without poppy seeds, but i love muffins and poppy seeds don't hurt the taste so leave em inside :) I would tear these little guys apart, how delicious with citrus! Great unique stuff. As much as a brownie fiend as I am, muffins are not too far behind. Upvoted

I was wondering the same about poppy seeds. Then I started wondering if they could be replaced with chia seeds...
Anyway, looks delicous and the pictures are great!
I think Chia might work. Try it and let me know. Thanks so much for the compliment and for commenting!
