Today I bring you a vegan recipe that ask you how it is possible to do, because again the star ingredient, aquafaba, you have asked me in the previous recipe how to prepare aquafaba so be aware that I am preparing that recipe, returning to our dish of the day, aquafaba mixed with potatoes to make a rich tortilla, this recipe shows that it is very easy to prepare different dishes replacing the egg or milk of animal origin.

Whether you are egg allergist or lactose intolerant or vegan that would be your best alternative to improve your lifestyle, this is the perfect recipe to eat delicious and healthy.

My secrets INGREDIENTS

(for 4 portions):

♡ 4/5 medium potatoes

♡ 4/5 tablespoons chickpea flour (or wheat, or wheat-corn mixture)

♡ 3 tablespoons aquafaba

♡ 1 tablespoon vegan cream cheese

♡ 1/2 glass of water

♡ Salt

♡ Oil for frying

PREPARATION

Preparation time: 10min

Cooking time: 15min

Total: 25min

The first step will be to wash very well the residues of some strange material that we find in our potatoes, next we will cut them in sheets, we will choose our best frying pan we will throw a generous oil jet and we fry the potatoes, after they are ready we reserve. It is important that the dores are not, only fried, but still soft in consistency.

The next step will be to look for a bowl where we will add the aquafaba, the flour of chickpea, with the help of a palette we will mix and we will be pouring little by little the glass of water, the idea is to disappear the lumps. Once we get a uniform mixture add the vegan cream cheese and potatoes that we must previously drain to add to our mixture.

The result will be a uniform mixture and pasty, we have everything ready, just do not heat the same frying pan adding more oil, when it is very hot add the mixture, and here I recommend you to be careful with the edges and temperature that should not be high or low but a constant of both for the bottom is cooking to perfection, remember to give several turns to cook the interior well.

After you finish cooking, let the tortilla rest and serve when it is warm, not too hot,

The mixture of flour, milk and water should be somewhat more consistent than that of the beaten egg, but not much more. The best result is obtained with chickpea flour, but if you don't have one you can use another type of flour: wheat, corn, or a mixture of both.
