A very good morning (or evening) fellow steempunks. How are you all today? Enjoying the first moments of summer? We sure are. Though we do not have summer months in Cambodia - here we have a dry and rainy season - after a few days of almost non-stop rain we finally have a sunny morning ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Though I love the tropical rains too, not seeing the sun for almost 10 days took the smile off so many faces. But not today..... smiling people everywhere and it's only 8 am.

I already can feel it's going to be an amazing day! And I hope for all of you the same.

I actually can't wait till next week. After one month of opening our little bakery and selling our goodies just from the bakery, we decided to take it to the next level. FOOD TRUCK..... or should I call it a FOOD TUK TUK?

The box is being made as we speak so by next week we should be mobile with our shop and we have a lovely spot next to the river. Can't wait to be in the middle of the heat and OUTSIDE. Nothing beats the fresh air, healing rays of the sun and (sometimes) lovely rain showers.

HYDRATING ACAI WATERMELON MORNING BLISS

INGREDIENTS (serves 2 for breakfast)

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 5 cups watermelon (seeded and cubed)
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 T chia seeds
  • 1-2 t lemon zest
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup cultured coconut yogurt
  • 2 T acai powder
  • 2 T hemp hearts (keep some for topping)
  • Water as needed

DIRECTIONS


  1. Blend spinach and water in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add all other ingredients and blend again. If you have a high -speed blender you can blend everything in one go. If the smoothie is too thick add more water.
  2. Optional: top with superfoods like chia seeds, hemp hearts, or goji berries if you like. I used hemp hearts this time.

What would be good for better skin complexion ?

Lots of water, go easy on sugar and carbs, and lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Take care. Also healthy fats like avocado, seeds and nuts. Opt for foods rich in vitamin E and C. Hope this helps. Take care.

hehehe I know right?? I have an interesting post about fruits and veggies that I will be posting soon. Someone requested I give them tips on weight loss, lol it just so happens I have experience with it! lol so I recorded a video about it for DTube, still need to edit it and upload it.

Cool. Fruits and vegs are the best for weight loss. Really need some more free time to make some more video. Love it but with our physical shop now my time is very limited :(

Yeah, we decided that we don't want to turn it in a foreigner only place. Hence the tuk-tuk and we keep the prices as low as possible. Coffee shop and food will be for later. We have a friend interested in joining us with that. But hey that's life. Plans change as we go. Thanks for stopping by.
