Walnut Cake with Vanilla Icecream & Caramel Sauce!!! (Original Creation & Photography by @amitsharma)
Hello Steemians,
Sweet tooth cravings, especially, even post having a satisfying meal is something that let's one be absolutely creative in giving suggestions or coming out with amazing ideas to create one, even if at home.
Generally, there are sweets, candies, chocolates around but the craving for a dessert hardly dies out even if you eat candies or chocolates.
Trust me, the home made dessert preparations are really so much fun to make and enjoy it in company. Strangely enough, you start getting suggestions for improvement for the next time!!! Ohhh yeah...really!!! It happens, I guess, in every home!
So, yesterday we were baking a walnut cake and it just got a bit burnt and all of sudden the weird suggestions started pouring in....
Let's do this...Let's do that !!! hmmmm...Wow !!! I was in dire need of those...LOL !!!
OK, One suggestion was absolutely worth...my Kiddo, said, if we could get something like small cupcakes out of it...the centre portion...I immediately picked up the idea and got the cylinder shaped cutter and got two decent portions of cake....
Next was decorating it...to give an awesome look and wonderful taste....
Had some vanilla icecream in the freezer...but before that....some sugar to make some yummy caramel...and make some caramel sauce!!!
Now, melted a dark chocolate and a milk bar to make a dark chocolate and milk bar square on the silicon sheet...while spreading and drying mark a square shape with knife!!!
So, now is the final part...decorate the platter...since we used brown sugar to make the caramel...and later added a small spoon of peanut butter...that's how it came out to be...Lickalicious...yummy !!!
The cylinder shaped cakes, some caramel sauce on top and also decorate the platter, add a big scoop of vanilla icecream and decorate with dark chocolate and milk bar squares!!!
Here it is, have a look and enjoy it !!! Quite surprisingly the Sun rays add a beautiful yellowish-Orange hue on the plate!!!
