Jenna hated cold, dark nights when the wind howled.The tree branches scraped the side of the house sending shivers down her spine.
Oh, that sound! I hate that sound!
To her relief, the wind died down, yet the scraping became ever more steady and insistent.Glancing out the window she spied a dark shadow, certain it was a figment of her imagination. Squinting to investigate further, she saw eyes looking back at her.
