Cal's piece shifts the focus from Arnav to that of the woman in the DermaTru advertisement, Bonnie A.K.A. @BluebellBonnie. Behind the curtain of social media claims of joy in her new skin's perfection, her life is far from such. We're given a raw look at the emotional cost of conforming to society's level of beauty and an insidious snapshot of what some companies will do to maintain their 'standards' - without ethical care to the mental stability of their clients. Calluna has our tears flowing for Bonnie and prepares us for another heartbreak in her final lines as the story returns to Arnav.
2nd PLACE - 3 STEEM & 300 SNAX tokens: @Agmoore
Agmoore upped the stakes with her story by delving more into the world in which Arnav lives. The rule of a caste of Celadons (people with a green hue born from a mutation) has led to the rise of a Resistance. Arnav and Lara are of opposite minds in how to live, him wanting to live a meek life and protect their children while she is willing to risk everything to bring down their oppressors. DermaTru's and the nanites purpose in serving the Resistance comes to light bringing with it added weight to what Arnav is willing to sacrifice for his wife's love. An intricate piece that would be worthy of a sequel, Agmoore has readers riveted to the end and wanting more.3rd PLACE - 2 STEEM & 200 SNAX tokens: @Gaby-Crb
Gaby returns to FTS with a strong piece that carries on the momentum from the beginning to give us a twist in our perspective of Lara. Here we see how Arnav's impetus to have the procedure done was more within his mind rather than from the request or desire of his wife. Lara's surprise and emotional response to what her husband has done is subtle and powerful. With empathy, she embraces his change while inside she had already loved him as he was. Gaby gives a reader much to think about, not only with society's acceptance but about how a person's perceptions over what is truth can influence their decisions.

Is this SBI on all new posts? And if so where do you find this income back? steel dollar?
If so I think all my investments are or became useless and the one's I invested in gave up on Steem. So I choose the wrong people (now I think it's better to invest in the active big fishes).

Sorry that I missed your comment earlier, Wakeupkitty. Yes, the SBI initiative will upvote your new posts (and comments if you go more than 7 days without posting). This income comes back to you through that upvote. So if you have your payouts set to SBD/Steem then it will come as that after payout. If you choose full Steem payout, the same goes.
We've all found some investments that give better return than others so I do understand that it can be a bit frustrating. But I have to say that SBI is worthwhile so long as you either post or comment frequently.

It confused me for a long time because they are called shares, which made me think about it like an investment and shares. SBI is basically like a ticket for an upvote. The more tickets you have, the more the upvote you get from SBI is worth. It is averaged out over a week, so the upvote isn't always worth the same amount. Watch out for upvotes from accounts that start @sbi, eg @sbi5 on your posts and that is where you are getting the income paid back ;)
I will see if I can figure out more about that Nabla app. I have android indeed. I wonder if it is worth it, all those tokens... Who takes over, earns if I drop dead tomorrow. 🤔
Thanks for the SBI explanation. I think I see a @sbi once in a while. Before more frequently. I believe those I invested in are all gone. Thought it was just for a certain period I did not saw it anylonger.
