Filmmaker's Diaries: Music is On (15/10/2018)
Hello and welcome to another Filmmaker’s diary!
Video
Tomorrow I’m going to film the real estate video. Finally!! Got the car and I’m ready to do it.
Upload it and get the website/ company up and going.
Have the car booked and all.
Can’t believe how long this took… or is taking. I can’t wait to write that the video is edited and uploaded.
Writing
Finally, I got a 5-day streak in writing. This was taking forever too. I was getting back to it, a couple days then I would miss a day…
Like a lesson learned before, “ I must write every single day!!” As soon as you miss just one, that opens an all-universe to seat missing it all the time.
I took a break, from the feature script to rewrite/ translate another one. A short script.
Short Films
I’m working on a short documentary, that it’s not getting the dedication and time investment it deserves. But Yesterday I came across a no-budget idea I had for a short film. I just might do it. I know I don’t have them and have all these videos and I’m writing and there is the Doc… but I think I’m going to do it.
And I might just do another one. A new idea. So, two short films in the same genre.
Let’s see… if the music videos take time to, take of… I think I might do this non-budget shorts.
Plus, It’s an excuse to HAVE TO find time to make some music… for the soundtrack.
Music
I must make music to fell well adjusted and in peace... however, I haven’t in the longest time. All due to time.
Sometimes I wish I had fewer things to do, fewer interests, fewer companies, and less ambition.
But actually yesterday I played the bass for 30 min… what fantastic experience that was. It did ignite the fire again.. if only I had more time.
But let’s see, I do have a few working progress songs.
Yesterday I connected my soundboards and everything… after months an months, also made a quick visit to my favorite music-making blog…
I must say, I even thought of making a side hustle mixing songs. I do have experience and so on... But taht's for some other time. But between the videos and this litle one... good things could come.
If only I had more time.
