Filmmaker's Diaries (Getting a Job?)

Hello and welcome to another Filmmaker’s diary!

Job

So, today I sent my CV to a job offer. A job that has nothing to do with film. (Where I live there is no film industry actually)

This si kinda funny, in case you’ve been following this series for a while you’re aware I did went thought a couple years of hell, as far has financial situation goes. Truly horrible, even starting a youtube Chanel took more than a year due to money issues.

And now, I’m much better we’ll of, I’m about to get all of the companies up and going. (That’s a music video/ Documentary one, and a rela estate video and another with all types of comercial work plus travel videos)

I’m really, really close to have them all at 100%…and now after all the battles and wins and adversities and so on… I apply for a 9 to 5.

But, I think it can be good. I did learned many lessons in this three years… many, many lessons, regarding capital and business and money management and so on… I’m confident that if I go there, it will be my last 9 to 5 job.

And I can invest properly in my film career.

This is the only job I would consider at this time. Since it can allow to juggle between it and the films. The time is not rigid, I choose how I manage my hours and I hear it’s quite chilled in general too.

Well… I really don’t know if I’m going there, but I think they will call me for an interview. If I do, it’s going to be tuff… already I truly have no time. Always booked on time, only at night I chill with my girlfriend for a few hours, sometimes 2 and sometimes not even that. So If I had a, full time job in there, it’s going to be very hard.

Well see, it can be a very hard 6 months or so, that will lead to some terrific life.
