Filmmaker's Diaries - 14 August 2018 (Back from Holiday)
Hello and welcome to another filmmaker's diary.
It's been a while since I've posted a diary... I can assure you, I'm not throwing the towel... rather I've been on some relaxing and fun holidays. Just came back a few days ago.
Back to business.
Unfortanly I had to keep the company and script on hold for the duration of the trip.
But here are the updates. I'm editing the real estate video I filmed before leaving.
It took me extra two days just to get started. I thought I had acess to the sofwear for a few times... I didin't. And then I tautgth I could learn anotyehr free (very good) softewear... I could not... or I should say for some reason the playback of the footage was just to shaky.
So I re licenced my favourite program and had to wait an afternoon for it all to update...
Troubles are behind me.
Editing it and it's going to be ok. ALrealearnedned many lessons to take to my second real estate video. Can't wait to do that one. Maybe on Friday I'll go offer my services to the next home seller.
I really wanted to use a drone shot to end the video, since the place is very close to the beach... however since it's the month of August a lot of people are on holiday...
So, in short, I can only get a drone shot around the 26th... that means waiting quite a bit more...
I came up with an alternative, it won't be has cool has the drone but it will sell the idea that the apartment is close to the sea. It would be better for the time schedule and better for the wallet.
Maybe I should go with that. What do you think?
Sorry to say I stopped writing on holiday and haven't started again. Hope tomorrow I can open the script.
Oh by the way the fu****g construction work in the wall shared by me are still going...
