#38:Naomi - FASTER!
“So how do you plan to make this thing move?” Naomi asked Cody. She had finally quite laughing although she was still very bright eyed.
“By pushing” The catfish told them. Then it proceeded to do that very thing. It nudged against the side of the life-pod and began to push. They began to move...slowly.
“That’s not very fast.” Jennie said as she looked at the wake. There barely was one.
“We’re moving faster than the Banana Slug” a small robin sized dragon had appeared from somewhere. The girls both jumped as if they had been stuck with a pin.
“How bout warning us next time?” Naomi wasn’t laughing one bit..but Julie was giggling.
“Sorry about that” Cody told them. “I couldn’t very well talk to you from the bottom-feeder.”
Julie looked over the side. Nope..sure couldn’t. The bottom-feeder’s whole head was underwater.
“Can’t you make that thing go any faster?” Naomi asked. She suddenly felt uneasy being dead in the water so to speak.
“We’re going faster than the Banana Slug right now.” Cody told here “But yeah...I have some ideas. “
“What?” Julie asked him.
“Skates” Cody told her.
Naomi had a mental image of a catfish on a skateboard...and she started laughing again..

it's hard to tell what’s true or when they are lying isn’t it? It seems that they are more interested in influencing public opinion than they are reporting the facts.

Here the point that I visualize as key, according to the expressed by the small robin sized dragon, is that the life pod was moving faster than the Banana Slug; because, this indicates that it is possible, in the future, the contact between the Banana and the Life Pod ... The problem of the USCGC remains latent, which seems to be making contact, from one moment to another, with the Banana Slug or the life pod.
