FoodFightFridayFreakinversary the 1st: Wants Some Gnemon's seed coat?
Beautiful isn't it? Well.. this is Oseng-oseng Kulit Melinjo aka Gnemon's seed coat stir-fry with fried anchovies
Saleum Steemians🐮
On behalf of my beloved wife, I should create a post for #fff this week because it's an anniversary, the 1st, right?
I need to create this post under her supervision because she said She already posted 3 posts and She couldn't let the curation trail drain the VP on her only😂
Well.. that acceptable, meanwhile I haven't posted anything for 5 days😊.
She told me about @dandays and his beautiful 5 stars chef @puravidaville. He told me about @jlsplatts too,but since I'm not so into her cooking community like I'm not in any communities (my bad, I just hit steemit once in a while to check on my wife only😉) but I remember all stories she told me about everything she did on steemit as a respect for listening to my business stories. It's equally and mutually a simple proof of our "No Privacy" marriage.
Let's check on the Food now😉 prepare your fight!
I was craving for this food on sunday but she cooked it on monday and then I asked her to cook it again on wednesday😂 I dunno, maybe my body is craving the minerals from the gnemon's seed coat. My Garlic already posted about it 2 days ago HERE
So, playing my Role as her Shallot, just continue to read, please😉
She bought about 250 grams of gnemon's seed coat from Kang Jawir (I thought she would asked me to pick up the seed from the trees at the street😆) also 50 grams anchovies.
Split each this beautiful seed coat to 3-4 pieces then wash it thoroughly
Boiled the seed coat with 2 cup of water for 10 minutes, but if you like it a bit crunchy maybe you just need to soak it in the hot water for 5-10 minutes. But I like it softer, that's why My Garlic boils it.
prepare this, half onion, 2 garlics, a bit ginger, 2 green chillies, slice it
You can wash the fried anchovies and fried it too, while waiting for the seed coat ready.
fried anchovies, uhmm this is @cicisaja's favourite😉
Now, heat about 3 tablespoon cooking oil and stir-fry the sliced ingredients above till the smell is good.
the seed coat now ready, filter the water. If you like it, you can stir-fry the water too, but I like mine without gravy😊
add into the pan and mix it well for a minute
don't forget the fried anchovies
Then mix it for another 2 minutes, add a pinch of salt if you're not sure that the fried anchovies not too salty😊 or you can add another chilie sauce too. My wife add her sambal lado about 2 tablespoon (I think it made the gnemon's seed coat stir-fry tastier).
Now we have This as our lunch😉
Some people might eat this without rice, but I like it with rice and sometimes with seasoning fried chicken too. It taste delicious, the texture of the seed coat were soft and friendly for a toothless man too.
This is our contribution for @foodfightfriday the 1st anniversary from my garlic and I😊
Have a wonderful weekend and may the #fff always on steemit too🎉🎊🎉🎂
Thank You
Dipo & Cici
Thank you Shallot😉 you're such a nice man😍 thank you for bearing my annoyance suggestion here and there😉 so.. what would you like for lunch today 😂
Now.. go post your mochi things my Garl😉 you took so many pictures and I don't dare to eat them all

I asked her to cook this dish again and again... but today, the veggie seller didn't bring the gnemon's seed coat😐
What a pleasant surprise, welcome to the kitchen @dipoabasch, heck of an entry you got here. 👍🏿
I had no idea you were on Steemit, I’ve seen the dreadlocks before only from Cici, but when I saw your profile picture and the use of the emoji’s, I knew you were Cici’s husband before you mentioned her. Nice to meet you, sir! Thanks for making a mess with us. Good lookin out @cicisaja.
By the way, your English is just as impressive as hers. Have a nice weekend you guys.
Well @dandays 😉 it's me who edited the English for this post😂 he just read it bahasa Indonesia and then I translate it to english so He won't waste a day just to create one post like this😊.
He's been around for sometimes.. but just hit and run .. when he saw me too busy with steemit, he'll check on me
While you’re here then, I was actually thinking His was slightly better—I just didn’t want to offend the blockchains sweetest chef. 😉
But, now that I know you did the editing, it makes perfect sense. Good morning, Cici.
Good morning @dandays😉 I don't understand why I always edit his post better than mine since the starts😂 I just don't get it... maybe when I do the editor job, I put myself in his perspective. I think and act like him.
Thanks anyway..we're shallot and garlic and we always together till sometimes we forget who we are but 1 person in 2 bodies.
Hello @dandays, thanks for the warm welcome. I've been here for more than a year .. but Im not always around like my wife and she's my only editor.
I can say that.. she prepared all my posts especially the pictures and if it's in Bahasa I wrote it myself.
Im lucky that She knew how to cook everything I asked her to, lol
