My Fashion and Beauty Blogger Life

Hi everyone! This is my very first post on Steemit thanks to my friend @ShiniDaniTV for introducing this platform. I am very new to this so I am still learning and trying to get a hang of things.

Since this is my first post, I would like to introduce myself. I am known as @mermaidinheels here and on Instagram. My love for Fashion and Beauty started at an early age. I have loved dressing up, designing and putting things together as early as I can remember! I remember designing clothes for my Barbie Dolls. Making them crocheted dresses and from whatever scraps of fabric I could find. In high school, I found myself designing prom dresses for my friends. I just loved to draw and create!

During College, I took up Media Communications. After graduating, my love for fashion found it's way back to me so I took up a Dressmaking course and also took up Makeup and Hair. I guess this has always been my passion and I always see myself in the Fashion and Beauty Industry. I have my own line of jewelry and have experienced working as a makeup artist and hair stylist working for fashion magazines and weddings. It can be a lot of work but it is true that once you find what you really love to do, you will never work a day in your life!
