California Seeks to Create a Ministry of Truth Through a 'Fake News Advisory Group'

California has a problem with authoritarianism. From vaccines to CPS cover-ups and abuses, the next issue is about total control of the information you can access. Senate Bill 1424 will essentially eliminate independent press in California through a state-run "fake news" advisory group. Information that goes against what politicians or the establishment want will be deemed "fake news".

The advisory committee will be created by California Attorney General, and potentially come into effect on April 1, 2019. That is one hell of a messed up April fools joke to play on society! Except it won't be a joke.

Information would be policed to determine what is true or not. As if they can do that honestly. Bunch of wankers. This is straight out of Orwell's 1984, a "Ministry of Truth" in name only. But a ministry of propaganda is what it really is. Anything deemed false would be attacked and eliminated from public consumption.

To think they can actually police what is fake or not, is laughable. To think the government can just control what information is put out there simply because they don't like it, calling it "fake news", is highly arrogant and only spells disaster. Freedom of access to information was under attack as soon as the phrase "fake news" was being used by the mainstream media. And now, the foreseen tyranny of government is at hand to remove free speech in favor of controlled speech.

CBS Sacramento says the EFF rejects this proposal:

The Electronic Frontier Foundation opposes the bill, calling it “flawed” and “misguided.” The group argues the measure would make the government and advisory group responsible for deciding what is true or false. It also points out the First Amendment prevents content-based restrictions, even if the statements of "admittedly false."

The government of California doesn't care about the truth. They are ready to stomp on free speech in an effort to do something that can't be done. But reality doesn't stop deluded people from trying to do things anyways. In the desire to control what people think and do, California's attempting to silence all dissenting viewpoints that don't fit the government's official narrative.

California works hard to control freedom. Its' power reaches into classrooms. Bill AB-155 wants to force "fake news" media literacy in classrooms. When your party loses the presidential election, like what happened in 2016, of course you have to blame fake news, which is what the Left did. President Trump only won because of alleged Russian hacking and meddling in the election.

California also passed Senate Bill 48 that requires teaching children that biological realities don't matter, as if men can actually become women and vice versa. There was also Senate Bill 277 which eliminated philosophical and religious exemptions from vaccines in the state of California.

Another effort is underway to prevent people from getting help to live how they want to live. AB 2943 is trying to make it a crime for services or businesses to provide help to people who don't want to be LBGT, as they look to make "conversion therapy" illegal.

Equipped to Love co-founder Ken Williams sais it “actually takes away rights from those who are questioning their sexuality. We don’t want to see an America where the government is controlling how people identify sexually."

California is heading towards communism. The police state wants to control everything that people do, from what they learn, to what they can say, what they can inject or put into their bodies, and even what they can eat. Freedom of speech is on the chopping block, and so is freedom of choice. Political correctness and so-called "tolerance" is out of control. Freedom has long been under fire in America, and now California is leading the charge.

It's funny that the bear is a symbol for Soviet Communism, as well as the symbol for California. Go figure.
