It is sad because there are some things that I like about the state but some of the laws I hear about them passing are really dumb. I heard that they made it illegal to ask someone if they have aids before they give blood because it is upsetting to people with aids but getting aids would be pretty upsetting too.

I think some of this comes back to an issue we touched on in the comments on one of your posts the other day. People rightly come to understand that the right or left is full of shit and then they wrongly assume that this means that the other side is correct which leads to policy like this.
