Lately, there's been a lot of changes in Steem blockchain from multiple platforms. One thing for sure, they are all individual dApps that are decentralized technology, but centralized management. Things I noticed

#dlive - ceased operation with Steem

This is one of the significant live streaming platform. What drive people crazy about it, is the game streaming experience. Added with the upvotes dlive given to fellow users, they're once the greatest video hosting in Steem! Until, that shit happens and we have no more dlive. During their exit, they allow user choose to migrate the video out to their new chain…hmmm.... The video were all the time in their own servers, not in Steem blockchain. Have we forgotten Steem is text base? Luckily we have #dtube still!

#Partiko - powerful, fast and efficient mobile app

Since @partiko , my Steemit time literally down to zero except the time I need to use the wallet. They're in the midst of setting up a wallet and I'm all excited about it. One thing you may not know, Partiko was written from scratch. If you use Partiko app to share a link, it will come up with partiko own web link. As some of you may wanted your friends attention, but they're lazy to login to give you an upvote, you can manually change the layout of the web link by changing partiko.app to steemit.com/add your first tag/ and follow by user names and the permalink. Again, the kind of same different here reminds me of what Steem blockchain is, text base. Whatever pictures inserted, are hosting externally. Steem offer absolutely no room for your pictures are then the link, which is also text.

#esteem - Do good, karma will return favor

eSteem app has been around for like forever. I started to learn about it since last year. All I need to do is, increase my follower so their SP will help to decide upvote weight from eSteem. All I gotta do is, use their app to post, make sure I don't spam, once a day, each post at least 50 words and above with real quality content exclude footer. Trust me, I have seen 600 words footer, and they didn't get the upvote. There's a brief few days api.steemit.com unstable, I can still use esteem.app to login and continue posting by pointing the node to esteem server. Again, I find the photos being uploaded are esteem tracker server. Steem block chain has absolutely not kept any of the photos we've uploaded. Spammer have no place there.

#wherein - The latest short blog app from China

Now this is one of a kind. I believe it's still in the early stage, but I have really challenging time but still love to use @wherein. It's a combination of "check in", IG alike, FB update. But still, you can try to upload a photo without any word see if you gain attention from audience or the cleaners?

Steem is text base. Whatever good photo you shared, they're from the outside, hosted separately, that helps you get reward via Steem. The text content that is really paying your reward is the text, be it the link of the photograph you uploaded or the description of your photograph. Any of you still remember those days we need to upload photo to our own photo hosting service and paste the link to here in Steemit?
