EOS Community Update

EOS is growing by leaps and bounds. We missed a lot of updates from EOS since the blog shifted to medium.com.
EOSProject currently has 38148 members on telegram EOS group. The community is getting stronger every day, with around 35+ project in the pipeline including some big names like Everipedia.
According to Dan Larimer, EOS development team working round the clock and are on track to launch EOS successfully by June.
New projects have started coming in and there is a lot of involvement of Block Producer on different chat-rooms. Feels things are kicking fast.
Through this post, I'll try to cover some important update for EOS community, new projects, list of important channels and chatrooms , Block Producers and things EOSians shouldn't miss out on!
Update on Block.One
Block.one hired Richard Jung, former CEO of Bithump and former senior executive at Alibaba to lead development in Korea.
EOS Organisation has also partnered with Mike Novogratz 'Galaxy' and Eric Schmidt 'TomorrowBC' to investing in promising projects on EOS block chian. Through Galaxy, they have invested $30 million into Everipedia.
Proposal for Stack Exchange
Stack Exchange is a network of Q&A websites for developers to learn and share their programming knowledge. Stack network is still in proposal phase with 28% commitment. Block Producers
With the launching date coming closer, we could see a lot of activity from the side of Block Producers. There have been several posts posted on steemit, introducing B.P to the community.
Why EOS Block Producers are using Steemit for an introduction?
To maintain fairness and transparency B.P need to introduce themselves ono steemit, where content cannot be altered or edited.

New Projects on EOS
Everipedia
Everipedia is a for-profit, wiki-based online encyclopedia[1] launched in December 2014[3] as a fork of Wikipedia. They are venturing into blockchain technology, exploring the benefits of rewards system as enjoyed by steemit.
Everipedia is a modern and more inclusive alternative to Wikipedia with a slick interface and less bureaucracy. The big news is that Everipedia is going to be decentralized and will become the first app based on EOS blockchain, with IQ, their internal points, becoming a cryptocurrency token. Moreover, every EOS holder will soon be airdropped with some IQ!

Scatter
Scatter is a way to sign transactions and provide private data without exposing keys and unnecessary information while interacting with web applications communicating with the EOS Blockchain.
Scatter will work something like steemconnect which will store your private data for each Dapp. You just need to configure once, and scatter will fetch your data for different Dapps.
Chintai
Similar to steem projects, projects on EOS will need bandwidth on EOS platform. Bandwidth is entirely dependent on EOS an individual holds/delegated. Chintai is simplifying the delegation/leasing part on EOS. It will be free for both lessor lessee.

Decentralized open source tech education platform to help seasoned Softwares Developers grow their skill set.
