Global Handwashing Day at @SchoolForSDG4 (15 October, 2016)
Dear friends,
It was 15 October, 2016 . One of my ex-university younger brother called me to know if there is possible to arrange hand washing program at @SchoolForSDG4 . He explained their purposes as to create awareness about handwashing among children which was sponsored by a rotary club in Sylhet. On 15th October, the handwashing program is arranged world wide to create awareness.
He and many of his firneds who are doing volunteerism with Rotaract clubs joined in the program. In the above picture, one of the volunteer was showing how kids should wash their hands and how to use soap.
There banner, As you know that my school name was "Community School" . It is now known as School For SDG4 ( @SchoolForSDG4 )
Here is another volunteer was helping Hashi to clean her hands.
At the end of the program they got a soap each and some foods from the volunteers. I really appreciate such initiative as the kids got some training to develop their life skill and make it habit at home.
Many schools organise the programs for their children during the day. I was happy after the sudden offer.

I know kids are notorious for not washing their hands, good idea to ingrain it into them at a young age.
Why do you want to ask me if I can find a lot of Poor people in my country?

It is nice to see young children inculcating their habits of washing their hands properly practicing hygiene so as not to contract any diseases which may be fatal. Great article! Upvoted!
