Life Experienced Episode 10

in #dsound6 years ago (edited)

Life, Experienced is a podcast that showcases the unique life experiences of its guests. Hosted and produced by Ethan D. Smith, each episode features an interview with a person who has a story to tell.

This week, a professor recounts how his own educational experiences more than 50 years ago motivate his approach to teaching in a college environment.

So cool discovering your podcast! You're such a great host, you ask good questions without being too bossy. xo

I shared this with a couple of college students i know who are trying to decide what they want to do. Thanks so much for thr podcast!

Hey there, @xcountytravelers. Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and comment.

I really appreciate you passing the podcast along! I would also recommend you share Episodes 4 and 8 with those same individuals because, in those interviews, I talked with people who also had interesting experiences choosing a field to land in.

Once again, thanks so much for stopping by.

Sweet. Thank you! I will let my niece know.
They each put their major down as liberal studies for a year so they could get the basics and decide at that point; well, it is THAT point.

Thanks again.

You do such excellent interviews. What a lovely share!

Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment, Katrina. I really appreciate it! I hope you'll tune in next week for part 2. There's so much more to come!

wow - what a story! If his story isn't a testament to perseverance... i don't know what is! :)
so encouraging! really good for me to hear at this point in my life hahahaha never give up :)

I think there's always value in talking to older human beings. They just exude wisdom most of the time when they tell stories like this. It was such a pleasure to sit down with Dr. Durrill and listen to him tell me about his life experiences.

Thanks so much for sending your WW brigade over to show this post some love. I don't often get sincere comments here since I don't have much time to spend commenting on others' posts, so it's refreshing to get some good feedback and hear from enthusiastic users.

Thanks for all you do, and if you could encourage everyone in the WW who is an iPhone or iTunes user to review my podcast on Apple Podcasts, that would help me out greatly, too!

Once again, I'm so glad I can support your group, and it's great to see them in action here on the post. Keep up the good work.

He sure did experience life, glad to hear how he had walked his way through his life experiences. His first year there sure did bring blessings his way

Loved the podcast, Ethan! And you have a really great voice (I know you have heard that alot, but lemme say it one more time. Lol!)

Sending you love from the WW Quad Squad...😊❤🤗 Thanks for always being there for us, even without really knowing us all....😀

Hi there @audreybits! All of my interviewees for this project have had fantastic experiences to share. I'm glad you enjoyed this one, and I hope you'll check out the rest of the episodes!.

I appreciate the love from the WW squad. It's a fantastic group!

Sure, I will! I hope to enjoy them all😊

Yeah, it is fantastic!❤

What an amazing interview, loved your voice. Felt welcome from the first moment. I have listened to quite some of your podcasts and what I love most is to listen to true life stories and most authentic guests. Nothing is more interesting than life itself.

Thank you so much for your work, I really enjoy it very much!!!!

Hey there @anutu, I really appreciate you stopping by to listen and comment. I'm glad you've enjoyed my podcasts. It's been one of my most rewarding projects for sure. I'm hoping to continue the project for many more episodes, so I hope you'll subscribe!

Good Evening @ethandsmith, unfortunately I have no podcast service installed, I always download here and listen from my computer. Sometimes, if possible, I listen at youtube (subscribed already). Sadly our internet connection here is very unreliable, I live on a tiny island :) when we have no sunshine we usually have no internet :)

Did you read my writings about the search for my family? (A Guy and a Lipstick Series)

Have a most beautiful evening!!!

Then I'm even more honored that you take the time to listen. Thanks for subscribing on YouTube. I plan to continue posting each episode there, as I've found that it's easier for some people to listen. Thanks for letting me know! I'll certainly take a look at your writings!

Thank you so much for posting each episode, that makes it much more easier! Have a most beautiful Friday coming up!

Wow I have missed your radio voice my friend I do hope you are well listening now as I type this.

Hey there @crazybgadventure. I definitely miss your antics as well. It's great to hear from you, and I really appreciate the kind words. I always have to find some way to use my voice to be creative.

Maybe I can interview you about your move to Bulgaria sometime. So far, I've just been interviewing people who are close by, but I've thought of reaching out to do some remote interviews with interesting Steemians I've met.

Plus it would give us a chance to reunite on the airwaves. haha

I would very much enjoy that Ethan happy to oblige.

Dear Ethan- what a fascinating podcast- I'm hooked and lookimg forward to your next show. Beautifully put together and I loved hearing about Preston.

Gosh your voice is absolutely captivating!

Also- thanks for everything you do for Welcome Wagon- as a newbie peer, I can't thank you enough for all your support. E x

Hi there @eveningart! I'm glad you enjoyed this podcast! Be sure to check out all of the previous episodes, as each one has been a delight to produce.

I appreciate the kind words about my voice. I've definitely enjoyed being creative with it during my time in the STEEM universe.

I'm so glad I can support Welcome Wagon and all of the members there. So you are very welcome. :)

Listening right now my friend - but had to start to leave the comment, just telling you how appreciated you are. I've missed your presence so much - it was such a steady, solid, professional, genuine gift! And yet - you still follow everything I do (literally) with your support and vote and dedication! Today you have been chosen as the Sponsor of the Day (it's a new thing for our WW recruits!) and I hope they shower you with support!!! Awaiting your return when things slow down for you! Always your friend, Dreemsteem :)

Hey @dreemsteem, it's great to hear from you!

It's an honor to be the Sponsor of the Day! I'm so glad I can continue to support the Welcome Wagon even though I can't actively be involved as much as I used to.

I still focus most of my creative energy on this podcast project, which has been one of the most fun projects I've ever worked on.

Hope things continue to go well for you!

You just have no idea how much we appreciate you!!!!

And most have never met you! I hope they fall in love with you even more after hearing you on this podcast hehehe

I'm so grateful for your faith in this ! Since the beginning of it all Ethan! Really and truly! Thank you from the fullness of my heart!

I have delegated all my power out to the newbies who were hurting with the RC restrictions... So my personal vote is so bad. (I think less than a cent hahaha)

BUT!!! As they come here and vote...I'll be voting through them since they all share my delegation!!! Hehehehe

Hope you are well too my friend!
