Running on STEEM Episode#24 - STEEMIT is NOT for Everyone
Hey, guys!
As much as we would love for everyone we know to see the value of steemit the way we do and how it's such a great platform to be involved in, not everyone you introduce the platform to will become an active user. Heck, some of them may never even sign up. You ever wonder why?
In this episode, I share my thoughts on why I think that steemit, although a wonderful platform that's free and available to all of us across the globe and it offers you STEEM(money) in exchange for your content, is NOT for everyone.
Hope you enjoy the episode :)
Thanks for listening!

Yea...I agree with you @branlee87
So far I've invited over 20 friends to steemit, just few of them were interested. Presently only one of the twenty I invited is active on Steemit. Most of them said they find Steemit quite frustrating.
Yeah, we just have to pick our friends that we invest our time in and even then we still need to manage our expectations after that.
Thanks for the comment
I zoned out a little but I know your thoughts haha! Perks of being the wife. Truth is some would see blogging or vlogging as "work" unless they've been doing it already prior to this and that also applies to me too. You know I've spoken to a few friends about steemit but none signed up even after telling them the potential payout they'll receive (days when SBD was RM40, good times...). You gotta love creating content, then the payouts are just extra :)
Hey thanks for the great comment! :P
Yeah, we're probably the same mind on this one. It's really not for everyone just like how some people like lawyering around, how your friend was excited to cut a dead body up during her days as a doctor in training. It's just not for everyone.
Yeah, right @branlee87
Is it that people are becoming lazy these days?
Or is it that there is too much money and opportunities that people are not ready to even do the hard work of taking them?
Can this be the reason why the 'rich will always be richer'and the 'poor will keep getting poorer?"
I don't lazy is a big part of it. I think it just comes down to interest. If you're heart just isn't in it and it doesn't pay your bills, it might just not be worth doing.
Thanks for the comment!
Yes. I agree with you on 'interest' and 'bill-paying activity'.
The way I think about new things is to explore it and be in tune with the realities of the present and of the future.
I also think about the opportunity to expand my streams of income.
