I talk about the state of cryptocurrency looking like a massive bloodbath, the steemit system distributing steem as compensation for cutting down a percentage of our SBD earnings to curb the potential inflation problem(it's a good thing as far as the big picture and sustainability of the system is concerned)and how all that potentially affects my future to continue living off steemit.

Stay strong branlee87. I am affraid I believe it will get worse before it gets better. I am trying to diversify my "investments" as much as possible - and keep creating content I believe in.
In my case I was about to quit my soulcrushing day job, when it all started crumbling a bit - so I never took the plunge - but i believe it might go back up after the summer / towards the end of the year.
I hope you can find a balance as I really enjoy your content!

Damn. Sorry to hear that, man. It's definitely not an easy decision to make. One one hand, you just want to be happy which means not having to go to that job you hate, but on the other side of it you need a sense of financial security. Hope you get to comfortably take that plunge sometime soon this year :)

Appreciate you listening and also the advice. Yeah, agreed. Been trying to secure plan B back when it was plan A. But maybe it wasn't the season or the right timing. Will keep both eyes open as they say.

To clarify an important point, SBD's value/market-cap isn't considered, just how much of it exists in absolute terms. If they actually looked at SBD's value, then this would've happened long ago.
