Reach for what you believe.

Welcome back to our weekly Drop in the Ocean post where we feature the amazing content that was created for the show.

The word for this weeks Drop in the Ocean show was Success which was marked by a failure to communicate as discord failed to connect and @Shadowspub provided us the comfort of her @SteemitRamble voice kindly helping us get the show underway.

A critical success which stemmed from a uncontrollable failure. These are the kinds of things that we got to discuss in the show this week, how do people view success and what is the drive behind it.

Let us gain some valuable insight into the inner workings of success as we dive right into this weeks Drop in the Ocean.

The votes have been rolling in from the attendees of the show and we have the posts ready to share with you all.

The top two voted writers will 'level up'. When a member has levelled up, they will receive a daily upvote from the BuddyUP account at 50%. The member keeps their level for 2 weeks unless they level up again on DITO within those 2 weeks. Every time you level up, you will receive an additional 10% on your daily vote, maxing out at level 5.

The writer with the most votes will be resteemed straight after this post. This is so we can all look back at the BuddyUP blog and see the winning posts from each week.

And the winners are...

Voting has now been opened to allow every @BuddyUP member to cast their vote for their favourite Drop in the Ocean post, instead of only those who attended the show. With all the votes in for this weeks Drop in the Ocean posts, we are happy to present the two who will level up this week.

If you are wondering how you can join the Drop in the Ocean show, you will find all the required information at the bottom of this post.

Now, let's find out who gains a level this week...

@TheHive

With their post on success, @TheHive does a great job of noting all the ways in which we feel we have succeeded with a few great examples not only of personal achievement but as a species.

Our ability to know whether we succeed gives us the ability to determine whether we have failed, in most cases this failure is a learning moment, but at times, this might be the beginning of the end.

Looking at the developments made, our ability to do so many more things than we could previous. Are we succeeding or failing as a whole.

Asking the difficult questions, @TheHive wonders that although we seem capable of infinite growth, being able to learn and discover more about our world and ourselves, where have we landed between success and failure?

Objectively looking at our success as the human race, this is a must read: here

@YouHaveWings

We welcome @YouHaveWings to their first Drop in the Ocean, they come armed with a very impressive and well-researched post, backing a personal opinion and conclusion based on their efforts.

As the title says: "Re-think Success" they challenge you to consider an alternative to the mainstream definition we apply to success. Providing many examples to better showcase their thinking process, @YouHaveWings provides you with all the information required to decide where you are in regards to success.

However, the experiences and wisdom we gain while attempting something new is crucial to our survival and ability to grow as individuals and society as a whole.

Buckle in for a good read, lengthy but informative until the end, they do a great job of getting their reasoning across with more than enough room for you to reflect on your own opinions.

Head on over to their post packed with insights drawn from what is so clearly evident in the world around you: Here

Our runners up for this week

Although success may seem to be a very superficial topic it has the depth of the person to whom the success belongs. Our success may be most obvious when lauded by others but personal success relies on yourself, believe in yourself and be willing to fail since failure is merely a learning opportunity.

Another way to find a little hope when things seem to be going the wrong way is to assume that if you are not failing then you must be succeeding, right? A conundrum I will leave you with as we have a look at all the other amazing posts from DITO.

So where are the rest of the posts?

People will always have differing opinions on success, and at times it does boggle the mind how they cannot see other's points of view.
@Shadowspub - Success and the Mindset

Changing can be difficult and when that change seems to be tied to society's view of whether you are successful, then it can be either refreshing or get very hairy.
@FreedomToWrite - Success!~Drop in the Ocean~

The sweet freedom of success, but first you need to get the person out of the house so you can have that.
@Monchhichi23 - Spread your wings and fly.. Watch out for that tree!!!

@WelcomeWagon has had great success and I am sure everyone can agree. How much have they succeeded? See for yourself:
@DreemSteem - Mission Accomplished: SUCCESS! Drop in the Ocean

Still sucks.
@Penderis - Suckcess
