Morning Steemers!

Is it a good morning though… No! It’s not. I’ve been lucky if I had 4 hours sleep today. I think someone is going to be a grump today!!

Dream Diary - Monday 4th December 2017

No real dream diary today Steemit. More of ’Moan Diary’ I couldn’t sleep for the life of me. I went to bed just before midnight and I just couldn’t fall asleep. You know that feeling when you seem to be the only one awake whilst the world is asleep? Yep, that was me. First of all my husband snores for England! He recently had to be fitted with a sleep mask. Not the most attractive device I have to say. It curbs the snoring, but the machine itself makes a noise like a revving car up the road.

My hearing is perfect. I can hear the slightest noise. I can hear the washing machine run from next door through my walls, I can hear the water filter run from my living room which is on the other end of the house late at night. I think I can even hear sounds that are only meant for dogs too!

It wasn’t just my husband keeping me awake, it was my cat as well. I mentioned yesterday I was having new flooring put in. I’ve gone from cream carpets all round the house to an American Walnut vinyl. A third of the house has been done. You could hear the feint patter of his paws on the carpet, now it sounds like he is wearing clogs! Plus the fact he’s been exploring in places that he never did before… like round the back of the headboard!!! He was pretty good most of the night, but considering I went to bed around 11:30pm and tossed and turned all night, I was not impressed when he non stopped miaowed from 6:30am!

All night I ended up checking the time. I must have got up to go to the toilet about 5 times! It seemed I was clock watching every half an hour. Then at 3:30am I had headache! It was the worst! I suffer with headaches pretty badly and it’s the ones that feel like a migraine coming on that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. So not only could I not sleep, I had a noisy cat and a headache from hell. I took a codeine to shake it. I thought 'That will knock me out’ It didn’t work. So in the end I had to take a prescribed tablet purposely for migraine use. After about an hour, it did knock me out, but that took place about 5:30am! Then my husbands alarm went off at 6am! Then the cat was miaowing at 7am for food!

I knew I had to be up at 8am because the men were coming round at 9am to start on the rest of the flooring. 7:30am my husband took is mask off and went back to snoring and my cat was being a nob because he had just eaten. ”Why can’t I just have the last half an hour!!!???”, I yelled!

So needless to say, I am going to be a grump today. I don’t do well when I don’t sleep or get woken up or both!! Good luck to those that cross my path. I’m sure I can’t be the only one that craves their sleep. Maybe I’ll have a good night tonight and I can tell you some more about my dreams.
