Prince of the Prairie Treasures What is Left of his Precious Frisbee
O Frisbee, all is not lost!
The funeral was premature! The lawn mower did not win!
Prince of the Prairie will never give up on his Precious!

Our first Kong Frisbee (now 17 years old)
was mostly ignored by our first two collies, Blaise and Bailey. Prince inherited it many years later and loved it to death; the inside fell out, leaving him with a ring. And that ring sailed just fine, and he guarded it like the treasure it is. Even after the lawn mower spliced his beloved. The flat circle from inside the Frisbee also still flies, but it is lost, along with FOUR other Frisbees. Prince runs into the woods or flower beds and eventually lets go to bark at something. Four Kongs at Large!
New Kong Frisbees are no longer as rugged
as the first ones, which is really disappointing. But at the rate Prince loses them, we may have to buy stock in Kong.

Definitely not alone.
Lolo has lost a succession of kongs and frisbees, though no actual Kong frisbees, and we have a couch full of dog toys in varying stages of disintegration.
Of course, I bought the couch when Lolo was a puppy, knowing full well that he would likely dezyroy it, which he proceeded to do with joyful abandon. One of these days we really need to cart the sucker out of here.

For the record, I agree that kongs are not nearly as rugged as they once were, but then, neither are most manufactured products, or at least so it seems.

I really do love this breed of dog, so very handsome looking and powerful. Remind me of Lassie I used to love watching that show as a child.
Super photo of the cat on the Sofa back with the two dogs behind, either there was something really exciting on the floor or that is one very camera shy cat!
And there is a dog owners discord? I'm @saffisara hasn't already set up residence in that one, you will have endless pictures of Bobby sniffing flowers once she finds out!
