Definitely not alone.

Lolo has lost a succession of kongs and frisbees, though no actual Kong frisbees, and we have a couch full of dog toys in varying stages of disintegration.

Of course, I bought the couch when Lolo was a puppy, knowing full well that he would likely dezyroy it, which he proceeded to do with joyful abandon. One of these days we really need to cart the sucker out of here.

For the record, I agree that kongs are not nearly as rugged as they once were, but then, neither are most manufactured products, or at least so it seems.
