How long has Edgar been gone? We had one that was gone for six weeks before she came home, a little thinner! I knew you would end up keeping the kittens! I know a softy when I see one! LOL Kids back in school means some mama time! Yeah! I loved having the kids home but when they went back to school...
Careful with those dull scissors...
That definitely brings me some hope, cats sure can go for long journeys...
HAHA am I that obvious? I was trying to be a hard ass with the kittens, but yeah...they melted me heart...

That is a frustrating dream! I hate remembering dreams like that :) I mean the one about the scissors, not the baby!
This is why I couldn't have kittens... poor birds..

Maybe the split ends in your dream were representative of your frazzled feeling brought on by the alone time you've been doing without and the dull scissors were about how there was really nothing you could do about it while the kids were out of school? I know you love your family but being all dogpiled in the house for a few months can really wear a mama out... and cutting them with scissors IRL is a big no-no, so there's that.
Dogpiled is the perfect word for it lol! Dogpiling is always fun at first, and then a lot of people get hurt. lolololol

Man, that's that mouse that dangles on a string from over the door, isn't it? My kitties used to have one, until I tried to wash it (probably it got cloth mothed or something), and that broke the squeak and it just PERMANENTLY SQUEAKED. I tried drying it out to see if it would stop, but it didn't. So I wrapped it in stuff and threw it down the trash chute. It was like that episode of Friends where Phoebe's smoke detector won't stop beeping. LOL
I'm sorry Edgar hasn't come home. :( Still holding out hope. <3

Mornin’, Lyndsay! Ah, the relief when the kids go back to school! Every mom deserves a little “me time”. I work full-time so I understand having to stay up into the late hours of the night just to have a moment. But being home with the kids all the time? Nope, not for me. I have mad respect for stay at home moms!
As far as dreams, last night I dreamt that I caught my 12 year old daughter (who is a sweet, sweet girl), selling drugs. I woke up furious! But I’m pretty sure there’s no deep, subconscious meaning to it. I’ve just been falling asleep to too many Netflix shows like Shameless and Ozark 🤣
