Wake Surfing With Friends!
Hi Guys!
I had an awesome afternoon hanging out at my friends lakehouse and doing a little wake surfing. Here's a little video re-cap from our adventures this afternoon!
The awesome “on camera talent” is my friend Jess. I'm the worst at surfing... I've tried so many times and have never gotten up. Even with some really encouraging and helpful friends! I think my forte is just mixing everyone cocktails and providing some free entertainment on my ukulele. <3
I hope you guys enjoy this video! This is a pretty regular hangout for me in the summer. I probably invite myself over too often...but I always bring good food and bevvies!

Pretty cool that physical activity you did at sea. I imagine these summer adventures really should be adventures. I've never done that. What I did at sea was swimming and kayaking hehehe. I don't know if you've practiced, but kayaking at sea gives you immense joy.
The last trip I made to the beach was in 2016. I need to do it again. I hope to make one this year or at the most at 2019.

Kayaking and swimming both sound like awesome summer activities! Hopefully you are able to make it to the beach sometime this year! That is a long time to go without seeing the ocean.

Noooo definitely not. LOL I'm so bad at this kind of stuff. I struggle even on a lake with a rope in hand. haha

Hahah that was awesome and looks like so much fun! you need a delicious and nutritious Detox Cucumber and lemon infused water drink after all that lol ! I just bought a new Infusion jug and took steemers shopping at @momskitchen if you get a chance to check it out , I love it, next time its fruit ! or Booze Hahaha! I'm such a wierdo and for some reason I don't like cucumbers! I love doing fun, infused waters though. I should really do more of that. I like adding citrus, mint, and sometimes fresh berries. I'll have to keep an eye out for your fruit one!
Yeah you've got a huge lake there in Kelowna! I'm sure there are lots of people out there surfing.
Thanks for your awesome reply! yes berries are awesome! Im working on my #2 Infused water that will be cherry ! I hqve lived here for like 13 years now and have never been or on that lake haha! Kelowna is a playground for the rich and tourists! We go quite often to out town lakes close to where I am moving up in the mountains soon to my little property, its way less expensive nd only 10 minutes to awesome fishing lakes from Beaverdell haha! There aren't really pods like that here on Steemit - but a lot of people promote their posts in relevant tags in Discord. If you haven't used discord yet - it's kind of where everyone DM's. Warning - it's a total dude's app and is designed for gamers - but it's not so bad once you get used to it. haha
