Steem DApps : The recent flow of Listings on DApp Registers
Over the last month there have been some interesting developments on the reputation of the Steem DApps, and much credit for this has to go to a top Steem Witness: @therealwolf.
The wolf has made a significant contribution to this recent development having built his own website of Steem DApps – which has no doubt been fundamental to the listings on stateoftheapps.com and DAPP.com.
He has worked closely with both organisations in assisting with the Steem Listings.
The Real Wolf’s website : https://steemdapps.com/ currently shows that 39 Steem Applications have been listed.
From a personal perspective I am seeing more and more Steem DApps every week – this is a marked change from 12 months ago - and surely this will inculcate into the value proposition of the blockchain and in time the STEEM currency will hopefully increase in price as a result.
It’s time for us to explore more and more of the Steem DApps and to support these key projects which all demonstrate the power of the STEEM BLOCKCHAIN. @cryptocurator
On the wider web - I can see that there are three significant DApp registers:
1: STATE OF THE DAPPS (https://www.stateofthedapps.com/)
Before Christmas a significant campaign started after @soyrosa tweeted to STATE OF THE DAPPS requesting the ability for Steem DApps to be put on their register. This in turn led to a campaign by @oracle-d and the wider #Steem community to drum up support for the listing and then ultimately the work of @therealwolf and @stateofthedapps brought about the possibility of Steem DApp listings.
State of the DApps is a great website and recently we have the benefit of another newly active Steemian @mids106 who has given the community some insight on how the State of the DApps ranking currently works here.
2: DAPP (https://www.dapp.com)
The Real Wolf announced yesterday that Steem DApps have been listed on dapp.com as their 4th blockchain project, and @dapp are also registered on Steem, having joined in July 2018. Here is the news from the real wolf himself.
3: DappRadar (https://dappradar.com/)
The third big register that I can see is “Dapp Radar” which is another clean and professional website charting over 1,600 DApps across the EOS, Ethereum and Tron blockchains.
For comparative purposes:
DappRadar has EOS Knights at Rank #2 compared to State of the Dapps which has EOS knights at Rank #6 and Steemit at Rank #1. So, the way I see it, if Dapp Radar were to allow the listing of Steem DApps – you would think there would be a number of Steem DApps landing into their top 10 pretty soon afterwards.
I hope that Dapp Radar make contact with top developer @therealwolf real soon!
If Dapp Radar were to develop the possibility of Steem listings - they will probably see a spike in their internet traffic as more Steem users become familiar with their website and will no doubt get some more newsletter subscribers in the process.

I would be interested to know the consensus on whether we run with the spelling as dAPP, DApp or DAPPS?

These listing on dApp sites are really important for getting Steem the profile it deserves.
I wonder when the penny will drop in the markets that Steem is so undervalued?
While there are a lot of great crypto based project out there, only a very few can really hold a candle to Steem in terms of actual usefulness, traction and number of real users. Steem should be in the Top 5 if not top 3 on this basis.
There is a huge difference between promises and potential and actual delivery and Steem is really delivering!
