Dr. TLK _ Curation Contest: Help me to Thank you # 5

in #curation6 years ago (edited)

Source

Since I am new to the whole contest thingy, I am trying to make rules that will accommodate as many people in a fun way, and also will make winners happy with their wins.

Therefore, the rules may change with time but I hope to the best for everyone and please let me know if these rules work out for you.

What is this contest about?

The reasons behind this contest is

1- To give my gratitude to the steemians (especially my followers) for their hard work in creating quality content and for their support to me and steemit community.

2- To increase the interaction and support between readers and writers.

3- Everyone is a winner, whether you submit a post or you upvote a post, you will be a winner and receive some rewards.

4- I will choose the 5 posts with highest number of upvotes, 3 of them I will upvote them with (0.5, 0.4 and 0.3 SBD from first to third respectively, or equal SBD for equal # of upvotes). The other 2 I will upvote them with 0.2 SBD. All upvotes will be done by either @minnowbooster or @treeplanter, whichever available

Please note that I may reply and comment on your entry but I will not upvote any entry because I am leaving that to the judges. I will only upvote the winning posts :)

5- Each week, Every 10 episodes, I will send a gift to the 10 people that were most actively involved in working as judges and helping me making choices. The gift is a surprise (cash or upvote).

I changed the duration above because it is not possible to tell who is really actively involved in judging from 2 episodes per week.

6- I will run the competition 2 times a week at first.

7- I will share 1/2 the SBD reward pool of this post with all participants and judges.

The rules to participate and win upvotes:

1- Comment here with the title of your post and few introductory words. Also don't forget to add a link to your post here.

Only one post per person per contest

2- It has to be Original quality post. On any subject.

For photography posts, please make sure to write something about your photography on your post. Please don't post a picture without any description

3- Upvote this post

The rules to judge and win weekly gifts:

1- Upvote this post

2- Upvote the link of your choice.

3- You can upvote a minimum of 2 posts and maximum of 5.

4- Give a reason for why you upvote the post of your choice? (This will tell me that you at least read the post)

Guests of Honor

Any original post that contains deep feelings and meaning which moves my heart will receive cash rewards.

All support to enhance the upvotes and gifts are welcomed and appreciated 😁.

...Till Next Episode!

I am glad to enter again.
This time I am offering a recipe of pudding.
Bread and butter pudding

I'm a big fan of bread pudding, but I've only ever had a much more basic variety. The different fruits and essences you use must really pack a lot of flavor into an otherwise simple dessert.

We used to have the pudding quite often and each time it is different. Depends on what we have in the cupboard. :-)

Thank you for participating again my dear. These look so yummy. Now that I want to eat that, I certainly will try my version of bread pudding soon (if not today :D)

I would love to see you version. :-)

OMG, this looks so tasty. I'm going to see if I can get my sweetie to make it for me. Thank you. Great dessert. 😋

Glad you like it and it is easy to make. 😀

That looks yummy. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Thank you:-)

It's a lovely project, my dear Doctor, just the right kind of vitamin for making this platform a healthier space! And thanks for keeping your invitation / rules so simple and not having a hundred hoops to jump through and a million rules to abide by!

Being pressed for time myself, both here and in the 3D world, I doubt if I will succeed in full participation right now. Time will tell.

God Bless!!

Thank you for the visit and for the encouraging comment my dear @clicketyclick

You can participate by upvoting other posts as well, so please don't hesitate to get involved if you have time and you wish to read something that may interest you :D

Hope all is going well with you in the 3D world. Energy Saving Hug ;D

...repairman yesterday, some issues in a friend's life that need to be addressed today, so it's a quick shower and in to town again! - All the best for you dear Dr!

Yeah!! I love these curation efforts and I am honored to participate.

Dyslexia doesn’t mean you can’t read. Stephen Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Pablo Picasso and Whoopi Goldberg are examples of people who lived with dyslexia and overcame learning disorders. The best example today of one who overcame dyslexia to achieve academic success is Jack Horner the paleontologist from Princeton. Horner says,

“I think dyslexia and the consequences of dyslexia – learning to deal with failure – explain my own success. From my failures, I’ve learned where I need help, such as in reading and math. But I’ve also learned from my accomplishments what I’m better at than the linear thinkers.”

That is very interesting subject my dear @mineopoly,

Thank you for participating again :D

I must admit l knew little about dyslexia. Your post provides useful information, especially when you share your experience with the student Steem Roller.

Thank you @nelinoeva for reading the post. We have been supporting Steem Roller for almost one year now. There is no program from our government to support kids with dyslexia. Actually it is looked down on and regarded as retarded. He is a really bright kid and super kind and fun but everything slips though his memory. He has to learn it in a totally new way. When he does get it he has it for sure.

Oh, the kids with dyslexia need support and it is shame that governments consider them retarded. I wish him best of luck and you are doing great job by helping him!

And here I thought Tom Cruise was just short. This was a very interesting read. I used to think a few of my coworkers at the post office were dyslexic, turns out they were just sleepy.

Thanks for reading @wonderwop. It takes all of us some concentration to read so if we are distracted or sleepy it is difficult. That has happened while reading posts on Steemit too. I do my best to check posts and comments when I am awake. You really picked out some key points well.

Thank you for participating my dear @ldacey-laforge :D

People's opinions and thoughts may bind you if you let them get in your head, but what will chain you down and totally immobilize you, is your thought and opinion of yourself, and you have the power to set yourself free . https://steemit.com/popcontest/@lucentbritex/set-yourself-free-you-have-the-power

Thank you for participating @lucentbritex :D
