Hello Poets and poetry lovers!

I hope your Sunday is as good as mine, the sun is shining in through the windows, the heater purrs in the background, some music plays and my coffee is cold. Okay that last one is not ideal but still true. And isn't cold coffee still coffee?

I am sure even the casual follower of this here publication knows that we are growing like wildfire! It seems we have hit a nerve in the Steemit body here. If things keep speeding up like they do, we will soon hit 500 members. Awesome right?

But that also poses a few challenges to the people doing the work and the organization of the community. Even if today we haven't gotten many entries, there are days when it's just too much work for one person. And especially for @AngelVeselinov, who has been writing most of the Daily Doses.
So things are in motion, because they have to, as you can read here The short version is: Many hands make light work! If you have suggestions that might be useful or want to participate, please post in the channel.
The Daily Dose will be posted from the communal @poetsunit account from now on, so if you want to stay up to date, go and follow it now. We have some great ideas for the community and how it should benefit you as a member. And then some... Keep your eyes open!

So now to the reason of existence for this Daily Dose, poetry and prose!

Todays entries came from @quillfire @AngelVeselinov @escuetapamela @stephey @sammynathaniels and @poetrybyjeremy.

First is Quillfire's entry about friendship, i like it very much!
Second is Stephey's short poem that got triggered by a traffic jam, a very nice fosilized moment.
Third is SammyNathaniels' epic poem about stuggeling and potential, do this one!
Fourth is Angel Veselinov's poem about being a loser, or not?
Fifth was our last entry for today, Jeremy got inspired by a scifi theme, the result is an interesting poem/short story.
Sixth is escuetapamela's entry, that was posted without the poetsunited tag, so @escuetapamela (and everyone else) if you want to be considered for the Daily Dose, use the poetsunited tag! I made an exception because i liked the poem.

Well, that was it for this Dose's poetic entries. Keep an eye out for updates about the community, we have some interesting ideas. To be continued...
