Free tokens distribution announced by BAT (Basic Attention Token) for Brave browser users.

As an user of the Brave, a free and open-source browser based on Chromium lauched by the JavaScript creator Brendan Eich this year, I was surprised with a free 30 BAT tokens offer that appeared in the browser top alert bar. So I found this post in the Basic Attention Token blog published today: Brave grants 300,000 crypto tokens to browser users.

I think the tokens are only valuable to reward the BAT Partners sites you browse.

Maybe it's a great opportunitty to site owners and YouTube creators to became a BAT Publisher partner and start receiving BAT Tokens rewards from people browsing with Brave (now with the wallets full of BAT to spend too).

Opportunity for Steem Ecosystem sites?

I wonder if it is an opportunity to Steemit and other Steem blockchain ecosystem sites, like @busy.org, @steemitworldmap, @steemcenterwiki, etc, just to add another form of cryptocurrency income, the same way Steemit maybe are doing when uses Google Adsense's revenue sharing system in its search page.

The better if any of these sites eventually to be included in the BAT ecosystem decided to share with the users part of the reward tokens received, like steemians here are used to. I don't know how this integration could be done yet but it's better than consider BAT a competitor, I think both platforms work for helping bloggers and youtubbers to monetize better their content.
