🗞 EOS Is Launched But Not Yet Live – Why?
Visit any EOS Telegram channel and some version of this question will pop up again and again: Is the mainnet live yet?
While the EOS blockchain technically launched on June 10 at 13:00 UTC, the answer to that question is effectively no. That's because the crypto tokens created by Block.one's $4 billion EOS initial coin offering (ICO) are locked up until the network elects 21 "block producers" (the equivalent of miners for the new network), and as that still hasn't happened, currently no one can start using EOS just yet.

🗞 The EU Wants to Hear Your Questions About Blockchain
An organization established by the European Commission to focus on blockchain research and development is soliciting questions from the general public about the nascent technology.
The EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum announced through a tweet on Monday that it is hosting a 90-minute AMA (Ask me anything) session on June 18, to address any concerns from the public about blockchain and the organization's future plan in the emerging space.

🗞 Did you know this about the EOS Blockchain Launch?
Block. One has adopted a novel approach to the launch by 'distributing' its code for testing by different groups among the EOS 'community'.
Two main groups have emerged; EOS Core (previously known as 'Ghostbusters') and Bios Boot, each competing to get their version of the EOS blockchain to go live first. Each party has agreed to run with the version that wins the race, rather than to have a situation where there are two versions of the EOS chain.
Once up and running the EOS chain will be operated by 21 verifying nodes (elected by EOS token holders) who will receive compensation in EOS coin for verifying transactions.

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion
Here is the chart of yesterday :
Here is the current chart :
Yesterday, I was saying you that we have to hope that the support line at 2.05$ holds the drop. It failed... and so you can see how the drop immediatly accelerated. We have now to see if we will do a little consolidation and try to go back upper of that line at 2.05$ or if the drop will continue. If it continues, we will quickly go test the last major support line at 1.50$, last support line before the historic 1$ levels...
