🗞 The Yes Votes Are In: EOS Blockchain to Launch Imminently
The launch of the EOS blockchain has been a giant experiment in remote self-organization.
Tonight, it took a big leap forward. As anticipated, candidates for the role of validators or "block producers" (EOS's equivalent of bitcoin miners) located all over the world voted "Go" to take the mainnet live.
EOS is a distributed proof-of-stake blockchain created by Block. One, whose co-founder, Dan Larimer, has pioneered similar systems with BitShares and Steem. The company raised $4 billion to develop the open source software over a year-long initial coin offering.

🗞 Putin: Cryptocurrency Has Its Place, No State Can Have Own Crypto
Cryptocurrency has its place in the world and Russia should carefully consider when and how to take part in the process of its development, Vladimir Putin said in his annual Q&A session with Russian citizens. The president noted that “by definition” neither Russia, nor any other country could have a national cryptocurrency. Putin also mentioned the saga around Telegram, in the light of seeking “civilized” decisions.

🗞 South Korean Crypto Exchange Bithumb Cleared by Government
After a three-month long investigation, the South Korean government finds no evidence of wrongdoing at the Bithumb crypto exchange, local media report June 8.
Bithumb is currently the largest cryptocurrency in Korea and the seventh largest in the world by trade volume, according to data from Coinmarketcap.

🗞 Four Projects Seek to Solve Ethereum's Privacy Paradox
Ethereum is transparent to the core.
Much like bitcoin, the platform uses this transparency as part of its security – with it in some ways ensuring that users cannot fake transactions. However, new anxieties are emerging regarding this transparency and the potential problems that such data exposure might have for businesses.
In the past, these privacy concerns have gotten sidelined for other pressing issues, such as scaling, but signs are emerging that the subject is now receiving a fair amount of developer attention.

🗞 EOS Price: Positive Uptrend Aids Push to $15
In the cryptocurrency world, there is hardly ever any positive price momentum over the weekend. It seems this weekend may prove to offer something different, as the EOS price has risen by 3.93% already. This makes it one of the bigger “gainers” over the past 24 hours, and seemingly spells more positive momentum may be looming on the horizon.

STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion
Here is the chart of yesterday :
Here is the current chart :
We are exactly in the same position than yesterday. We are consolidating in the middle of one support line and one resistance line and we are waiting that the market choose a direction. It is exactly the same analysis on the BTC so I'm convinced that we will follow the BTC as soon as it will move. Don't trade the STEEM now, it is too much risky and it is more a casino game than trading. Wait that the market choose a trend and follow it.
