Merriam-Webster's Dictionary Officially Added Cryptocurrency, Blockchain and ICO

The prestigious American dictionary, Merriam-Webster's has officially added the words 'Cryptocurrency', 'Blockchain' and 'ICO', along with other 850 new terms from different fields.

The dictionary company explains that the sometimes puzzling realm of digital currencies has led into a subject that needs explanation for many of the people.

Therefore, they created a detailed information about cryptocurrency, blockchain and initial coin offering.

Justice Department Looks to Develop Cryptocurrency Strategy

Deputy Attorney Rod Rosentein said that the Justice department is planning on attending the cryptocurrency issues and that it was already been discussed with Governor Tim Pawlenty.

Moreover, as a new challenge, cybercrimes task force is working in developing comprehensive strategy to deal with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that do not flow through the traditional financial systems.

Last year Rosentein already discussed about responsible encryption access and a case involving Chinese traffickers who used internet to sell their wares using digital currencies.

In addition, Rosentein elaborated the unlawful access of encryption that may allow terrorists, drug dealers, and other criminals to hide incriminating evidence.
