BUILDTEAM up to 16 BTS as next bidding round approaches

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

BUIILDTEAM traded as high as 16.5 BTS over night as savvy Steemians started stacking for the next auction on September 3:

If you've been thinking of buying some, probably a good idea to get in before the madness starts. When the last pot was announced, price doubled in a little over 24 hours and this pot is going to be even bigger!

You won't be able to buy any off me though, I've been buying down here and I'm not selling any until 30 BTS ... so under valued right now.

Bidding kicks off with the pot announcement 00:00 UTC September 3 so get on Bitshares/OpenLedger and get involved!

this information is good for as thanks for sharing

Useful information for all.

So sell or bid? I am so torn!

Apparently the pot is going to be over 3.5K STEEM

Can I ask a total newb question here? I'm sure it is probably covered elsewhere, so if you just want to send me a link, I am good with that.

I bought like 35 BuiltTeam awhile back after seeing the report from the last bid. My intent was to put about half of them in as a bit to get some steem out and hold a few for future. But the fuzzy math makes me think I should just hold the lot since my share is so small compared to what others will put into their bids.

I know it's sort of lottery style, so no one can tell me whether to bid or hold, but can anyone point me to some guidance.

Ultimately, I want to increase my Steem Power. But if BuildTeam value is going to increase, then feels like maybe a hold scenario and find other ways to increase Steem.... is this valid reasoning? Or do you accumulate BuildTeam just to bid, and it makes no sense to hold?

I'm so confused... Insert flopping fish gif here. haha

Hey mate no worries - as far as the last bidding round was concerned (and my personal strategy) most people seem to be both holding and bidding. The bidding is a great way to sell a lot of BUILD at a good price when you may not be able to do so in the market due to a lack of liquidity. Holding is more of a longer term play, betting on the future prospects of BuildTeam and the token.

I'll be holding most of my tokens and just bidding a small portion!

Woah I wish i had bought some Build team tokens on openledger like @tj4rea l told me to! man just wait untill communities start to make their own tokens!
Like subreddits! steemit sub communities like subreddits will appear and they will make things super awesome ...only the nerdiest of the nerds wil see thevalue in it immiedtaly but wow build team tokens, cant believe peopel have quadrupled their money already on a token ade by steemt users!!!

Quadrupled? I bought my first one's off @reggaemuffin at a fraction of a BTS :P

Wait so what does that mean? now worth over 16 Bitshares, and a fraction of a bitshares, so youve made over what 30 x? damn im missing out

man my zappl token on openledger

did i forget to like cash them out ro something? I wonder if @zappl can help me

Yeah it was only a tiny amount of money though :P I think I bought a 100 tokens cheap lol

Re: Zappl that means there has been no volume on the market in a certain amount of time I think 48 hours

oh ok whatever...wait so did the price like drop to $0?

but you think those tokens will end up being bought back by someone?

thats what i heard in the chat

whatever i gotta learn about some of these other tokens coming out of steemit

u seen pocket? I got my pockets all million pockets all via steemit crazy text based comment based tokens

were about to get freakin Subreddit type communities and some community tokens i hear

Thanks for information

@bulle

Should probably stop spamming this same sentence over and over or risk your account reputation being taken below threshold.

POW!

I knew there was a reason I had you as witness!

OMG! Everybody is saying that Blockchain is decentralized and nobody is going to know who sent the money and to whom it was sent. We are in a blockchain's platform that it is like Facebook? Stop that BS and the double standard of all internet marketers who are saying they don't spam, but our emails are full of emails that we never requested. You are always after our emails, behind a chat and looking to attract more people. Ask Jerry Bandfield how he brought thousands of people to Steemit. There is only one answer: promoting in Facebook! Paying his promotion does not make him different, although you want to tell us that paying a campaign is not spamming. And you are telling me we cannot promote or tell people what we are doing on other plataform? Then you are policing here, like the USA government? Then why Blockchain? And why Steemit?
