Giga-Watt.com Mining First Steps

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Hey guys,
I'm here to get some information about this mining facility. And hopefully you can help me get what i am looking for.
Is there anyone who actually bought a mining rig from the company and maybe can tell me and other users who will read this post, how did you make the payment, do they let you know when they have your rig available, do you see that your mining rig is mining the cryptocurrency, if it got broken and some other details that i missed?
I believe many users will appreciate your information and knowledge about this.
Thank you !

Right now is not a good time to mine. Likely they will not be able to sell you a miner because GPUs are completely sold out.

You are better advised to just buy into the currency you would like.

As far as I know only ASIC miners are available and you need a number of those to get BTC or LTC. ASIC does not work for ETH.

From what i know they have L3+ miners available right now. They are asking to send the payment to a bank account in Singapore and this got me scared a bit. So this is why i got here, to check if anyone got through all this process and if everything worked fine. I am a bit afraid to send couple thousand dollars somewhere in Singapore and to get scammed. I don't believe anyone can afford to throw away 1k dollars or more.
Well from the power those miners offer it seems to make some sense. At least those cryptomining calculators show that.
Thank you for your opinion bruckdashel

I wouldn't even touch it. The bank account this sends up the biggest red flag of them all.

Yes, here is where my doubts coming from. Singapore Bank account.

Holy crap you can make a lot of money with this but you got to have the money to get it. You need to have at least 2347.05 in Ethereum. Just on miner that get you 504 MH and your all set.

Yes, if you have the money it seems everything easy. But there are many question signs i have when it comes to the security of my investment. I am not sure that everything other there is legit. I have not met anyone to say and bring proves that it bought miners from them and they are getting cryptocurrency to their wallet.

What you can do is open another bank from a different company, deposit some money there, then wire that bank. That way the don't have access to the bank where you check your weekly check.

It's not about them seeing my bank account number, it's about sending a few thousand dollars to Singapore without any insurance that you will receive what you paid for.
