Masternodes & the endless SCAMS!

This is my 1st post and my goal will be to post once a week based on insight that i have taken in from the market, various coins, specific initiatives, etc.

I call myself bitcoin geezer because I'm probably one of the older people (mid 40's) who is heavily involved in this space. I started buying bitcoin in 2013 and I'm a true believer not only in bitcoin & crypto but more importantly in blockchain.

With that being said I'm finding endless and more and more sophisticated scams (although to post below is not about sophistication but rather blatant scams) and I want to do my part to help those who may not know better and hopefully not have them a) get scammed and b) not view crypto in its entirety as a scam.

With that being said, here is my 1st post targeting Masternodes (which I believe in and own a number of) and 1 site in particular (Masternodes.Online).

The number of unaware people in the world can be both scary and saddening and they seem to congregate in the crypto world of various telegram channels. On 2/21 I put a tweet out on 2 (seemingly) SCAM coins to protect others about what appears to be an INCREDIBLE obvious scams as well as make a small statement to Masternodes.Online regarding their willingness to post these coins. In return I received your typical response from either a) the scammers themselves or b) the unaware. Ridiculous comments such as “not Masternodes.Online goal”, “99% of cryptos are scams anyway”. “Scam doesn’t have a definition”, “DYOR” “CMC does the same thing” but best of all was THEIR ADMIN @cryptobridge who then accused me of “having an agenda” while re-posting coins I list as my top 10.

So, I thought I would take a moment to respond to the utter stupidity of these responses (in no order).

  1. CoinMarketCap & Masternodes.Online are not even in the same ball park. Masternodes.Online is a site that will gladly take ANY SCAM COIN, SHIT COIN or any other coin if they can profit from it. Specially .2 BTC for a coin already trading on Exchange, .3 BTC (extra .1) for express listing & 1 BTC for listing an ICO coin.

a. This ICO coin listing is interesting and WILL LEAD TO MASS SCAMMING. Essentially anyone with some coding experience can clone a coin, make a site, put a deposit address in and pay Masternodes.Online 1 BLTC (today about 10K) to be listed as an ICO coin. This would then show up on their front page in a list of 127 coins. Depending on the savviness of the scammer they can then make it seem like a very attractive return on investment for potential investors.

b. Coin Market Cap (as far as I can tell) has a completely different model when it comes to listing coins and can be seen below. Regardless of how useful (or USELESS) the coin or token maybe it must meet some very simple and basic requirements (public exchange, trading volume, accurate supply).

c. Considering Masternodes.Online promotes itself as:
The leading masternode investment comparison tool features the most accurate and detailed stats and a free anonymous monitoring tool to track your own masternodes.

Seriously Masternodes.Online, THE MOST ACCURATE??? How can you be accurate when then coin isn’t even LISTED ON AN exchange and you have NO IDEA what the MARKET has decided what the value of the coin will be. I can certainly understand all the other coins that you pull data from but to have the audacity to use the word accurate on these ICO coins that can’t even be traded is a joke.

  1. Scam doesn’t have a definition – Actually it does, a quick google search will provide you with the following result, enough said:

  1. 99% of cryptos are a scam – Certainly 99% of cryptos have little to no purpose today, that’s true. 99% will fail. Crypto today is the web 1.0 and there will be many losers but out of the rumble will come some winners and blockchain is here to stay. I have no problem with almost all the coins listed on Masternodes.Online that start of hot and die a miserable death (CHEESE, SPK, etc.) but at least these coins where listed on exchanges and tradable and you could truly get an idea of what the MARKET determined the value to be (not the Dev or company hosting the skewed figures).

  2. DYOR – This is BY FAR my FAVORITE crypto acronym, it’s the "Go f$%K yourself if you get scammed" the I have no accountability if you lose everything attitude of CryptoLAND, and the carte blanch “I can DO OR SAY whatever the F&$K I want and then throw up the DYOR when you lose everything“ . This is exactly what the guys at silk road probably thought too, or the guys not paying taxes on crypto, or the guys saying “hey, it seems legit" and eventually losing everything. But you know what the problem is, eventually you won’t be able to throw up the “DYOR”, you will be held accountable for aiding and abetting FRAUD and for EMBRACING A SCAM and listing these ICO coins is just that.

  3. Finally, to the tool admin (@cryptobridge) accusing me of having an agenda… Yeah, genius, I HAVE AN AGENDA, you CAUGHT me. I have an agenda EVERY MORNING I WAKE UP, today's agenda was to protect people from getting scammed by Astrum.Cash and (POTENTIALLY) Sanzhezium. My agenda was to also have you hear a different point of view to perhaps use your brain(s) in helping not kill new or uninformed crypto investors by aiding & abetting FRAUD. I also have other agendas like investing in coins or tokens I BELIEVE IN, I have an agenda to SHARE those thoughts & investments. I have an agenda to bring visibility to these coins to give people insight into projects I find meaningful that might have a higher chance of success in the long run. So yes, I have an agenda, but my agenda is not to get rich by allowing scammers to post FRAUDS and SCAMS on a site designed to help people get the “most accurate and detailed stats” on coins and tokens to potentially invest in.
