Many creative thinking or idea stimulating techniques have been discovered, sophisticated, recognized and developed since the days of our distant ancestors in the caves. Several of those will be used in the book Creativity Naturally or in classes to help people use them to improve their creative lives.

Various brainstorming techniques are included that are classic and many additional techniques most folks have never considered are described that are used in business, science and innovation. To really explore creativity and how it will benefit one a dive into different techniques may provide real insight. These solution thinking techniques are applicable to many aspects of life.

What do these thought provoking tools do? Generate Ideas. Refine and qualify ideas. Expand awareness of challenges and solutions. The imagination is prompted and encouraged. Techniques to evaluate quality, usefulness or practicality help in the refining of the ideas generated from brainstorming. There are also ways the help in the implementation of ideas. Different techniques are designed for different purposes.

All of these techniques help us to stand on the shoulders of great thinkers who have developed ways to help all of us become better creators.
