A few years ago, I decided to get a new look,
upgrade my image, grab a new fashion, go stylin'!
After shopping around for this prospective "new look", I decided that the dude above looks kinda like he knows where it's at, and he does exude certain confidence if not exactly joie de vivre, doesn't he?
I decided that I could certainly do worse than to adapt his obviously fashionable demeanor!
and so began a concerted regimen,
at home,
strenuous practice and self-denial................
The pace was absolutely grueling - but I stuck to it!!!
My resolve was unshakable!
Until finally the day came
when I knew I was ready
How do you think I did?

The expression “mountain of a man” is primarily used to describe a man who’s big and powerful physically and/or has a large amount of social or financial influence in a city, region, or some designated area. In this case the Steemit platform.
Within many mountains are found not only precious metals and minerals but crystal clear and clean fountains of refreshing life sustaining water!
A rock or a boulder: solid, unmovable, steady, trustworthy, a perfect foundation!
Within much of African culture to call someone fat is to give a compliment as you indicate their success. To call someone slim would most certainly offend!
As a very worldly wise and well travelled intellectual @onceuponatime would see through the westerners shallow body image fixations. He would automatically peel through the layers and see the true jewel of a compliment that, to his acute mind, it most obviously was!
And with this comment I declare myself back on my feet before the count of 10! :)

I am sure that without your rigorous training you would have never been able to successfully pull it off. Though I do not think that you were in need of an image upgrade, you have chosen wisely and set a great example for all of those here in the steemit community. I can also see the look of confidence dripping off of you and once you placed the photos next to eachother, it almostlooks like that other dude is emulating you, @onceuponatime.
