I hope you are enjoying watching the Winter Olympics. Sportsmanship is such a great thing when it brings countries together. And I thought about this long an hard and thought well why can't it not bring steemians together.
Every Vlog post I do I give away a prize of 0.100 sbd, and recently i said I would be doing a larger contest this month, and I had a cracking idea.

So without further ado I give you.

The Steemian BOLERO ice skating contest.

This contest is purely for fun so first off don't worry you will not have to step foot on the ice. (However if you can ice skate that would be awesome also.)

How it works.

This contest is a video entry, you need to submit on either @DLive or @DTube, you can post on youtube also but preferably if you can use Dtube or DLive.

In 1984 Jane Torville and Christopher Dean won Gold for the winter Olympics after their performance of Bolero.

I want you to recreate your own version of Bolero.

It does not have to be serious, it can be as amusing as you want it to be, but it needs to be freestyle. The object of this contest is to have fun, don't be afraid of making mistakes I am not looking for a polished finish. So in other words if you are a professional skater, you have no more chances of winning than non skaters.

You can dress up in costume if you wish or be in casual clothing, which ever you prefer.

Bolero could be filmed, in your garden, in your home, in your work, in your university. Anywhere really that you think it would be applicable.

You can perform Bolero by yourself, or you can perform with someone else or maybe a group in sequence. (How good would that be.)

You need to have the Bolero track playing also if you are worried about using it if you credit the track it should be ok.

Be as imaginative as you possibly can, I like watching videos that make me laugh, but at the same time I love watching artistic talent.
The main thing is that you have fun doing it, and I want to see that fun in the video.

The video needs to be a minimum of 1 minute long, no longer than 4 minutes. I will randomly be resteeming videos along the way, maybe all of them if there are not many submissions.

When you submit your video you can attach the title Bolero Skating Contest or maybe (BWC) but it would be good to tag 8 crazybgadventure in the tag so I don't miss it.

The contest will run for 7 days, at the end of the contest i will update when the winner will be drawn depending on the large amount of entries.

Right now SBD is worth over $5 so essentially you could be making yourself over $50 just for having a laugh.

So just to reiterate.

• You have to submit a video
• Video must be your own original work, if you are found to submit a video from elsewhere you will be disqualified.
• Only one entry per person. So if two people are taking part only one steemit account can submit the video.
• Video needs to be minimum 1 minute maximum 4 minutes.
• Put in the video title Steemian Bolero Contest or (SBC) somewhere in the title.
• Tag crazybgadventure in the tag.
• The video must be recorded not a live submission I might not see it.
