@steemonboarding is a new multi-lingual marketing project designed to introduce content creators and curators to the Steem blockchain. WW is a new contest series aimed at discovering a handful of newcomers each Wednesday - and providing an overlap between experience levels across this growing crypto ecosystem.

Discover a Newb - Let’s face it, right now the blockchain is a tough place to be discovered and find your way. There’s a lot of empowering resources here to learn about, but it’s difficult to keep track of who knows what, when and where. With this ongoing contest we’re asking experienced Steemians (or "Welcomers") to introduce newbies in the comment section, below. Here’s how to play:
- Welcomers must have a reputation of 50+ or higher.
- Write a short (3-5 sentence) introduction about a newbie you’ve discovered [rep of 49 or lower] in the comment section, below.
- Share a link to a recent “hello” or #introduceyourself style post by that same newcomer (this newbie link must have been published within the last 6 days). Please include it along with your short introduction.

Today, our curation team will browse the comment section of this post looking for inspiring and thoughtful favorites. This contest will last 24 hours. We’ll reward both the welcomer (commenter) and the newcomer (their "hello" post). Find someone new and say hello in the comment section, below.

Irianto is from the beautiful island nation of #Indonesia. After graduating with a degree in petroleum engineering, Irianto struggled to find a full-time job, so he decided to go to school to get a Master's Degree in Business Administration. While completing his MBA, he was introduced to blockchain technology.
Some topics that @iriantopetrus will write about on his blog include music, photography, travel, and business.
Indonesia and her Steem users have a special place in my heart. I lived there for over 10 years so I can attest to the natural beauty of the country and the kindness and hospitality of her people.

@treepi is a college student making his way back to the ecosystem after taking a break some time ago. One thing that grabbed my attention is that the actual price of #STEEM attracted him back due to the value he believe its community has been able to create. He has already invested in his stake which is a great indication of commitment for the ecosystem. Given he is studying computer science, he intends to use his learning to develop and build for the blockchain. This is a great type of community member we need more of in the ecosystem.

I'm recommending very talented @artographer (rep 38) for this contest. He is an artist and photographer from Kerala India.
@artographer has been checking us out for 37 days and now is satisfied we are a good and safe place to publish his work, so this is his introductory post from a few hours ago:

His photographs are really wonderful and he also shows watercolors, drawings, and Photoshop creations in just the few post he's done. He's already entering contests, and resteeming, and reaching out to try the dapps. He has a lot of friends and interests in real life, and I think he is just the type of person we need to succeed on steemit.
I would like to recommend the new intiative @fuzz-ai and welcome them into the Steemit community.
The team will be publishing articles demonstrating software correctness tools, illustrated on real software with real results.

Hi @sndbox, maybe you can have a look at a new Steemian going by the name of @bisqa - 'visual and recording arist from California'. I find his art extremely interesting, check it out in the introduction post and the following. I feel he should get a little attention as he's obviously trying to find his way around here. Besides art, his posts are quite articulate. I enjoyed for instance his speculations on the theory of the multiverse. And it takes some determination to try posting something interesting, despite earning 0 cents!
