Introducing: Pow! Pow! #TeamGirlPowa
Ladies! and even Gents, Its #Steemoween and I'm posting up a storm. Why?? Because I have sooooo many good things to tell you (also, its my day off ;))
First and foremost I am introducing the hashtags #TeamGirlPowa , #patrictop20 , #btcnewstop20, and the Discord Channel called Girl Power.
and so without further lima silliness...let me break this down.
WHO ARE YOU?!?
Much like many great animals in the wild, we are a small but feirce pack. Our most feirce and loyal members are minnows with tons of talent and beauty and wisdom. I will introduce a few here (with my special drawrings of em)
Hailing from the great Pakistan, Aymen is not only a total sweet and clever girl, she also writes some deep poetry, prose, and philosophical thought. Don't let her beauty confuse you. This woman is an intellectual. Just go read her posts. YOu're welcome.
Its pretty clear to me that Canadians are some of the best people. This lovely young lady is not just a Canadian artist. She's a maverick artist. On her blog can find anything from scifi/fantasy stories, to poetry, to her beautiful color renderings of great art. If you can, also ask her about her Magic The Gathering deck. ;) she'll love ya.

Obviously an awesome American, Sim is the proclaimed Queen of the Sims. On her Steemit blog you will find many tips and tricks for every version of the Sims as well as some great prose!! Also, if you need any gifs Sim's got a neat hand with that too! Ask her for any help of that sort and she will most assuredly be there for you. She's very very kind and loving.
WHY ARE YOU?!?!
Because we hate trashy MEN!! lol jk jk jk no we actually have some great guys who are honorary members. We simply needed a place to be silly and/or ranty and to meet and support each other. Some may not realize it but Steemit and many other "places" on the internet are male dominated. We support many of those males because a lot of em are sweethearts and show the utmost respect AND we really needed a space just for us where people are required to be nice and respectful and not afraid of/angry at feminists or just in general empathic people.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
We are simply holding space for all female identified women regardless of age, race, gender, religion etc. This is a space that is meant to be open. Even if you are non-binary, trans or in anyway genderqueer you are welcome. Its a requirement that everyone be kind to you and listen to your needs.
This means we chat, we share our posts and upvote them. I personally upvote ever post in #teamgirlpowa and will leave a fun comment and the tag. Alternatively you can also use #teamgirlpowa and I will find you.
We are also trying our hands at campaigns for #womenofsteemit
Right now, there are two awesome women that we know of running as witness campaigns:
BTCNEWS is by @crimsonclad and in the top 50. She does a LOT of work for MSP including her own posts and btcnews stuff. If you've been in PAL discord you probably heard her rocking out to metal or just being the best mod ever. we want her in the top 20
PATRICE is @patrice , the creator of steamcleaners and all around awesome lady.
No matter if you are human bot fish or foul~~~Please consider to vote for them as witness and use the hashtags #patricetop20 and #btcnewtop20 to spread the word about their genius and constant giving to our community!!
Also important, our official humanoid bot in residence @rougebot is currently applying for msp JR Mod and is running a great new bot called @r-bot so please watch out for these guys who support women and are honorary male members of #teamgirlpowa
WHERE ARE YOU DOING?
As mentioned we are currently on our own server on the Discord app called Girl Power. If you are on discord, come find us and ask for an invite. All of us are also registered with MSP- the @MinnowSupportProject, as well as @writersblock and we really appreciate them and highly encourage you to start there and just pop in on us when you need some snaps, hugs, or some upvotes. If you aren't on discord, it takes a lot of memory but its worthit-- download the app https://discordapp.com/. Great community and connections! Also the bot-bots are great like @banjo and @dorabot
WHEN? 24/7 one of us is usually online. Just @ or DM us and we'll respond. WE have the same names.

Hello, great to see you promoting these amazing steemians and also many minnowsupport members!!
@artsygoddess is an amazing artist and a great curator, she spends much time taking care in crafting her comments and creations, I am proud to support her. Her support of the quiet room in PAL has been amazing up to this point and I have considered her for a shortlist of things to come! Definitely an Up and Comer that's for sure.
@aymen.mazhar I have only just become aware of, but feel like I have known for a while, her work is amazing and in depth, taking into account many deep aspects of humanity we seldom delve into. Topics such as empowerment, enlightenment and operating from liberating enlightened standpoints, very important and interesting stuff. Much philosophy.
@simgirl I have not had much introduction to but have chatting with on occasion on discord, but that just means another exciting steemians content to read on and enjoy. Her latest piece https://steemit.com/freewrite/@simgirl/day-10-5-minute-freewrite-prompt-splinter is quite lovely and I will be following her shortly!
The witness is ran by @followbtcnews (who is a southern fellow) and @crimsonclad, who is from a place where we shall not name for fear of bloody retribution. I think it was canada, or alaska. I'm not sure.
But they both run the minnowsupportproject.org website and manage a Witness, website and a team that delivers many awesome things. Like.. a mirror for steemit! http://minnowsupportproject.org/ or a rpc node for anyone looking to build ontop of the steemit blockchain/ecosystem.
I was wondering if you had any community guidelines for girlpower, and my first thought was regarding people who were born male and identify as female, perhaps to the point of having surgery. Where do you draw the line?
As an example I like to prettyup-braid my hair and wear nice sometimes overly presentable clothing, take the effort to smell nice, etc. Take care of others around me while I'm feeling 'happy', be nurturing and so on. Could there be some kind of conditional membership granted based upon gender alignment internally? or what about people who are gender fluid and move from one to the other, or identify as both, either physically or emotionally/internally was my point is all. Likely more to it. I am ignorant as to the specifics of how it should be arranged, but I think some of the above might be worth discussing.
There is much to take onboard with drawing a line such as girlpower or manpower, so I hope you have clear guidelines in place and follow them appropriately!!

My only guidlines right now are limited because no problems have arised between members. Much like msp we'll have to learn as we go.
As for your personal request I'd have to find a long path to personally trusting you to be thd kind version of Sammo. I'm really sorry and I wish you all the best but I can't trust your intentions.
As for genderfluidity im open to that as long as the person is ooen to feminism and supporting women and allowing them to have a safe space as well.
Like i said, we have straight cis males in there. They have bern upvoting members and showing respect from day one.

You're more passionate than most people I've ever met, and most earnest. I love your company and it's surreal how much I have begun so genuinely care about someone I've never even met. Your drawings and words touched my heart I swear. But I don't agree with one little thing in this post. You left out the most important part. You. Readers, Lima is a wonderful person with a good heart and more compassion than the greatest! She's hardworking and responsible and doesn't shy away from bullshit, but takes it head on! She's got a drive that's insatiable and strong, just like her. She might just be one of the special few in this world.

That is so sweet and completely describes @limabeing. She asked me why I was so nice to her, and I said she is easy to be nice to! We met by writing in the same contest, continued our friendship in general chat, and then in PAL. She is generous beyond measure, and I will support her efforts to have a nice girly place on Steemit. I'm glad to be a part of it.
I'd like to state firstly, that I'm not endorsing any derogatory incentives, or dismissing your thoughts on this issue. However I do wish that you respect my right to have an opinion on the matter at hand. I would like to say, as a woman, that I feel your view of the sex is incorrectly justified when applying discrimination to men. Men play equally important roles in promoting optimism and support both to a woman and in a community setting, and also enable a woman to be the best she can be, whereby you are endorsing to be solely empowered by the foundation of your womanhood. I have seen the attributes you are endorsing in women to be present in men, just as I have also seen the attributes you are conveying in men to be present in women. Be kind to those around you, no matter the gender, and in turn you will get the respect you seek from those you may have conflict with. Hate is a very strong word, and as one woman to another woman, I'd suggest caution with its use when promoting tolerance and positive energy. There's an abundance of talented individuals within this platform, some of whom you happen to work with, and I feel that it's important to give kindness & recognition to those men, just as you're so freely doing to the above mentioned women. Please do not forget that we are all equal and abundantly great in our individuality and abilities, as men and women, and that, even as a feminist, without man there is no woman, and without recognition of that fact, you would not exist. Go forth with a splendid heart :)
