ColorChallenge SundayPurple - Haunted House
La Maison Hantée was the only haunted dinner theater in Montreal. It is now closed and I have never tried it, so it, unfortunately, means that I will never get the chance anymore to ''taste'' the experience.
But I caught a souvenir of my own when I took a picture of this orc cook standing there at the window.
The photo was taken in 2007, way before the building was demolished in 2014.
Anterior to housing a restaurant, this place used to be a Hudson's Bay Company's fur trading post back in the nineteenth century.
Now, the location is in the process of being revamped into a hotel of two hundred and seventy rooms which will be distributed among twenty floors.
This lodging accommodation is intended as only the first of many others, that would go on bearing the same name and that could possibly be designed as eventually becoming chained-brand hotels.
We should soon see the finished product, since the opening is scheduled to happen sometime during this summer of 2017.

Haha j'aime les 2 photos moi non plus je n'y suis jamais allée, je ne savais pas que c'était fermé, dommage,... ce que j'aimerais essayer un jour c'est le souper dans le noir! Ca doit être vraiment cool comme expérience!
Merci! Moi aussi j'aimerais essayer le souper dans le noir. La première fois que j'ai entendu parler de ce type d'expérience c'est par un ami qui l'a proposée pour des retrouvailles entres amis. Pas l'idéal quand l'idée est de se revoir après 15 ans de distance à l'intérieur d'un groupe d'amis. Ça été rejeté, mais j'ai conservé l'idée pour une autre future occasion. Il semble y avoir deux restos de ce genre à Mtl: Restaurant Dans Le Noir & O.Noir.
Une chose est sûre: il n'y a personne qui sera en mesure de te regarder manger là-bas! ;-)
Ca m'inquiète trop! Je dois voir la nourriture que je mange dans un resto!
C'est vrai que c'est mieux de voir ce qu'il y a dans l'assiette... et qui fini dans notre estomac. J'irais tout-de-même une fois pour me dire que je l'ai tenté l'expérience.
