Algorithmic Pareidolia Exhibition - 空想性錯視展覽會 (GIFs from exhibition)

Hi Steemians,

This week is a long weekend in Sydney & daylight saving started today so we all woke up late. We have planned to visit Wade Marynowsky's exhibition at the Incinerator Art Space. The exhibition was free of charge and is funded and supported by Macquarie University in Sydney. Today was the last day for this exhibition so we were glad we made it.

今天是悉尼的長週末 (星期一是公眾假期）而且今天開始夏令時所以我們很晚才起床。我們計畫今天去看在 Incinerator 美術館舉行 “Wade Marynowsky" 的作品展。這個活動是麥覺理大學舉辦所以是免費入場的。今天是最後一天所以很開心可以有機會來看看

This exhibition uses machine learning by programming computers with deep digital neural networks creating each piece. There were 8 pieces shown at the venue today and were all very interesting.

這個作品展是用機器和電腦一起和作來完成每一個作品。今天有8個作品給我們看，全部都很有趣。

Just as we go in, there are many flyers promoting local art and crafts if you are interested in this area.

This is the Deep (Purple) Dream right at the door

在門口的第一個作品我們看見就是叫 'Deep (Purple) Dream'

Next is the "The Smoking Eye of Mascot". This is actually the airport at Mascot teamed with a hot ball on top.

下一個是叫做“The Smoking Eye of Mascot". 這個的背景是我們的機場跟一個很大的球來組成的。

This one is the ‘The Flying Castle of Bennelong Point’. It is one of my favourite in this exhibition

Next is ‘Picnic at Spinning Rock’. The background is at La Perouse. We used to go fishing there during our uni days

The next one is ‘Yesterday’s Futurist’ which I don’t really understand

This one is "This is What the Computer Saw". It consist of a web cam, Mac mini and a custom build video software where it takes a video of the person in front of the camera and makes some special effects on screen

Second last one is called ‘ When Are You Coming Up Here’ This one looked really interesting. The lady in the picture below actually stood there with me for some time trying to understand the video

The last one is the biggest display called “Synthesiser-Robot”. It has a robotic arm set up, stands, Mac mini, speakers and audio. It wasn’t on when we were there but I believe the robotic arm can operate the machine to make music with it.

最後是展覽的最大的作品是叫"Synthesiser - Robot" 是有一個機器人的手，一個架, 蘋果電腦，喇叭和一點播音機。我們看的時候他們沒有開這個音樂但我想是這個機器人手會做一點音樂去來的

It was a great exhibition and it was free admission. It is great that the council and university collaborate in giving people opportunities to attend these special events.
