Thoughts on prayer 4/4
When my son was six years old I took him to a toy store. I wish you could have seen his eyes as he saw things he had never even imagined. Everything was shiny and so very attractive sending his young imagination into a tailspin.
He was going to get something. After all, what kind of dad would I be if I took a six-year-old to a toy store just to look? The challenge was that he needed to make a choice. He could not have everything, now could he?
So, I allowed him to walk around and watched him. Everything was attractive but he kept coming back to one specific toy. It took a while but I figured it out and got him that one.
It works a little differently with God. He already knows what you need. And want. The question is, do you?
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

We sometimes miss the present continuous tense in some of the translations. Whatever you are praying for, don't stop! Not if you really want it!
Mat. 6:32-33 says
It is very true that before we pray to God about our needs, He already knows them. The only way for Him to respond to such a prayer is by seeking his kingdom first, thus, knowing about him and his son, Jesus Christ.

@reonlouw i think present and past doesn't matter. by the way it was a very nice for me to read about prayers. i loved each and every part of this prayer.
@reonlouw nice post bro. We must keep trying and we will definitely be successful in one of the chance and with that or experience is also increasing day by day. We will be also able to increase our imagination too with that.
