"Priority No.1" - Daily Word #27

There are so many things that constantly draw us 'to and away from' our many important and key areas in our life.

If I asked you to put your life into priority, it may look something like this...

Career / Business
Family / Friends
Finances Freedom
Lifestyle / Our Way of Life
Health & Fitness (Food Inclusive)
Hobbies / Interests
Self-Development (or Personal Growth / Learning)
Society / Social Needs (the Environment we live in)

Sounds about right doesn't it?

And if you are a Believer (a Christian) you will know what the Word of God says. In Deuteronomy 6:5 it says that we are to,

“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

Hmmm, where was this as part of the list of 8 key areas of life above? Missing I guess.

That's true for non-Christians and that may also be true for Christians as well. We think that the "Love the LORD your God" command was during the Old Testament times and does not apply to you and I today. Wrong!

Behold, now is the accepted time...to come back to God. Maybe we have not been that bad to exclude God altogether from the list. Perhaps He is there on that list, just not No.1.

Whatever the case, He is calling you back today.

What does this mean?

He is seeking you to honour this relationship with Him (back again) and make it your Top Priority. Remember, when Jesus came... He gave His All. He didn't just give part of His Blood and part of His Body, He gave Everything till the point of Death.

Someone once said, it was LOVE that Held Him up on the Cross!

He made a way today, He tore back the veil so that we could ALL come to the Father and the once First Love relationship you had with Him. He/She who has ears to hear, let him/her hear.

Will you Love God with ALL of your Heart, Soul and Strength?
