यीशु कैसरिया फिलिप्पी के क्षेत्र में गया और उसने अपने चेलों से पूछा, "लोग कह रहे हैं कि मनुष्य का पुत्र कौन है?"
उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, "कुछ लोग कहते हैं कि जॉन बैप्टिस्ट, अन्य एलिय्याह, फिर भी अन्य यिर्मयाह या भविष्यद्वक्ताओं में से एक है।"
उसने उनसे कहा, "लेकिन आप कौन कहते हैं कि मैं हूं?"
शमौन पतरस ने जवाब में कहा, "तू मसीहा, जीवित ईश्वर का पुत्र है।"
यीशु ने उस से उत्तर दिया, "धन्य हैं, यूहन्ना के पुत्र शमौन, क्योंकि मांस और खून ने तुम्हें यह नहीं बताया है, परन्तु मेरा स्वर्गीय पिता।
और इसलिए मैं तुम से कहता हूं, कि तू पतरस है, और इस चट्टान पर मैं अपनी कलीसिया का निर्माण करूंगा, और निचली पांव के द्वार उसके विरुद्ध नहीं होंगे।
मैं तुम्हें स्वर्ग के राज्य की चाबी दे दूँगा। जो भी आप धरती पर बाँध लेंगे वह स्वर्ग में होगा; और जो भी तू धरती पर ढीला हो, वह स्वर्ग में खोला जाएगा। "
फिर उसने अपने शिष्यों को सख्ती से आदेश दिया कि वह कोई नहीं बताए कि वह मसीहा था।
Heal in me whatever You see needs healing.
Heal me of whatever might
separate me from you.
Heal my memory,
heal my heart, heal my emotions,
heal my spirit, heal my body
heal my soul.
Lay Your hands gently upon me and
Heal me through Your love for me.
