Gratitude Day 57/62: Technology

Whenever there is a new technological advancement, there is usually a wave of prosperity that comes with it. According to Jeremy Rifkin, it was the discovery of electricity that led to the empowerment of women in America because the power needed for work was no longer situated in the upper body weight(manpower) but in that smart guy between the ears(brainpower). Technology is freedom, it is prosperity. The people who are usually deficient technologically are the ones who will be poor and enslaved.
Technology refers to machinery and devices that are developed from scientific knowledge(Google).
Technology is so important because it makes things easier. It frees people. It speeds up things that are meant to be done. Before the internet and smartphones, people would travel for miles to get to libraries for the purpose of making a research but technology has changed that. With technology, you can get whatever you want from the comfort of your bedroom. Softlife!
Today I want to thank God for the many technological innovations that make my life enjoyable. I am most grateful for blockchain technology. Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are such amazing phenomenon. They effectively take power from the hands of governments and central banks and give it back to the people. Blockchain technology will bring development to Africa because of it's borderless design. I believe that Africa will not be left behind in the third industrial revolution.

Technology helps in so many ways. Including the agricultural sectors, the effectiveness of technology can not be underestimated.
Nowadays, you see a farmer with hundreds of hectares of cassava plant. And so on like that.
It helps to reduce the health hazard and makes agricultural work efficient. Thank you @tojukaka for sharing.
