YES you read it right ,Only your RESULTS are rewarded !
People who work hard they do know the true meaning of it.If you get to see it from your real life you will notice that what ever praise you have got it was only because of your hard work's result not the hard work that you did in order to achieve that point.

Ask a person who have got the mark in the exam ,how many nights did he not sleep due to his study .Ask a person who has a reputation score of 60+ how much time he have been here to obtain that RS.
It is our human nature ,we do not notice the hard work that the person has given to be at the point that they are in now.For some example I saw a steemian saying outside of steemit that he can not do it in out here as he is not gaining a anything from in here.Which got me thinking is it really that difficult or it was not meant for that person.
I o agree the traffic is increasing but you should not give up that easily.
Coming to the point, Do not worry what others will think ? you got to choose different and one day they will ask for suggestion from you.Just believe in yourself and work on.
Timing is everything is this crypto world .So know when to get in and when to get out .You will get to understand and be there ,give some time and get to know a little more about these community then you will get all the answer.
