What do Bumblebee Eat? Do you know?
Many people always think Bumblebee eat Nectar and Pollen.

From these series of photography, you will find I do have evidence they actually eat flowers petals.

bees that again suck honey, amazing :) thanks for sharing @bullionstackers
I also thought that Bee eats nectar from the flowers. Did not know that they eat petals.

Sherlock Holmes)))) Cool photos))) I did not know and never would have thought that a bumblebee can eat petals of flowers))))
Good pictures!
There is a type of bumblebee that opens the base of the flower to take the nectar out while avoiding pollen transfer.

yea?
Yeah. Well, I had to look this up on Wikipedia myself but I remember something I heard about 40 years ago that triggered my inquiry: A bumblebee can fly 7 million miles at 3 million miles an hour on one gallon of nectar.
Well we know that bumblebees have been clocked at about 57 miles an hour so at that speed they could fly farther. Haha!
HA! I think you have just answered the question on my post here! I could not find anything about this on the web!
